Rendlesham - weather control query

In 'Left at East Gate' it is suggested that the air base may have been equipped with apparatus used to interfere with / control weather and Peter Robbins goes on to suggest that the use of this apparatus may have been responsible for the great storm that felled so much of the forest at Rendlesham. He does go into his thoughts on this a little bit but eventually leaves off, with it being a side issue that's probably not all that relevant to the Rendlesham incident itself. However, I was really interested and I was wondering if anyone knew whether he went on to do any more research into this.
