2012...

Pretty much like I said in my post about 2012, the great thing about dates is that they will eventually happen and therefore will debunk the believers for us. How many times has this "end of the world" thing been proven wrong throughout history? More than I care to count, more than we'll all ever know.

All the skeptic has to do is wait around until 2013 comes along and we're no worse for the wear, and then we can point and laugh and have fun with the (predictable) excuses the believers will come up with. So for now, it's nearly pointless to debate it, time will do the skeptic's work for us as far as this issue is concerned.

I agree. End of the world was predicted many times and every time it was because of religion. This clearly shows how can religion dangerously influence people not to take care of problems today, but to expect some form of salvation in future. Salvation for what, for sitting on your ass?

honestly, i believe 2012 is the start of WWIII and also the nuclear holocaust.
