Why not worthwhile miracles?
Maybe a miracle of free energy, or ending world hunger, or no corruption, but people are in awe of this? Come on, wake up!

Skeptics question the validity of the Holy Fire phenomenon, noting that pilgrims generally withstand the fire for the same very brief periods of time as can be achieved with any fire. They assert that not only do those observed not expose their flesh to the fire for any appreciable period of time, they also frequently switch the candle between hands or move body parts through the fire very rapidly.
The phenomenon continues to be the subject of contemporary criticism; in 2005 in a live demonstration on a Greek television programme hosted by journalist Spyros Karatzaferis, Michael Kalopoulos, an author critical of Christianity, dipped three candles in white phosphorus. The candles spontaneously ignited after approximately 20 minutes, in the same way that the Holy Fire does. White phosphorus will self-ignite when in contact with air.

After that... I dare that church or where ever it is to let reasonable scientist people (we are talking none-religious western scientists) in there and examine the origins of that fire.

It all comes down to whom you believe. I am very wary of most so-called skeptics. I do not trust them. I guess you could say that I am skeptical of the skeptics.

Nobody's preventing scientists from going to the place tomorrow and observing the people who place the fire next to their skin to see how long they hold it there. If they did they would probably be spooked by the sight of something they can't understand.

So even though people witness this and can see with their own eyes that they don't come in contact with the fire for a particular amount of time you're stilling willing to believe it's a miracle?

That is astounding! Truly miraculous. I just wish I could play the videos, but I keep getting some message that requires a special codec installed. Miracles abound but they are seldom reported. The worldly media wants to keep people in the dark about such things.

Its only an MPEG-1 codec. You can go to www.videolan.org and snag VLCplayer. It will play it as well as other codecs.
All I see are people passing their hands through a flame. It doesn't seem any more special then someone walking on hot coals.
