i accidentally found out some info while searching at wikipedia.com
I was seeing what events happened in the year 2000 and saw the great planetary alignment of may 3 2000.i checked more about conjunction and found this

A very remarkable planetary/galactic configuration occurs on 23rd and 24 December 2007. The 23/12 configuration — Mars, Earth, Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, Galactic Center, is shown in the graphic simulation (link) below; it becomes even more remarkable in that it will be accompanied by the Full Moon (conjunct mars) at about 2 a.m. on December 24 when a simultaneous Venus square Neptune occurs. It is even more remarkable in that the Pluto/Sun conjunction appears exactly on the Winter Solstice, just past conjunction with the Galactic Center.

...any of this is, but it sure is interesting. Do you have any more information on this topic? I've heard and read thousands of times about DC being laid out with tons of Masonic symbols - as you can clearly see from the aerial images, but the numerology aspect is truly fascinating. I would love to see some corroboration on this - if you know of any. Thanks for posting such an interesting find!

And this is more interesting than dec. 2012 how? I don't fully understand astronomy to know what to look for on that page, but lately there has been so much talk about the 2012 alignment that makes this one seem like a picnic... no offense intended.

Are there any historical correlations with other major astronomical alignments like this one? That is, if we look back at other major (i.e., on this scale) astronomical alignments, are there any significant events that correlate with them?

This is all very... Interesting, and I'll be sure to get out some binoculars to try to look at the planets that night (assuming they'll be close enough to see), but I highly doubt that anything supernatural will happen that night. Odd prophecies have been going on for years and theres one that marks a great change or an apocalypse for just about every year. Yet, humanity is basically the same as it has always been and we are certainly not all dead yet. And for he record, I doubt we'll be seeing any changes in 2012 either.

2007 Paranoia or Prophecy
I have scant knowledge concerning planetary alignments. I am certain that the astronomical fraternity will not blink an eye and the news stations are likely give this event around 2% of airtime or less dependent upon other breaking news stories.
Astrologers will place some metaphysical importance upon this event sprinkled with thier very own liberal interpretation of the event and dusted with a smattering of astrological gobbledegook.
People of religeous convictions will doubtlessly attribute this two or more ways. A sign from the heavenly father or thier 'End Times'. Other theories may abound depending on whatever vague text they have managed to distort from the bible and pagans will crowd around ancient monuments and sites of megalithic importance to stand in awe of this phenomenon.
In reality this event will mean very little to the leyman and his family. Paying the credit cards off and turning in for another days work will be your average mans priority at this time and he probabley wont have heard anything about this until on the day of this event.
Doomsday it will not be! Interesting...mmmm, well that is up to the individual! In my world it will just be another quickly forgotton astral happenstance that will have no contibution to my past, present or future.

I remember some BS back in 1980's early in around 83/84 and some bs about the planets and alignment and what could happen

man the system has spun this road for over 4 million years, its happened all before....just pretty not a prophecy

I would have to say that i agree.

How old is the universe? how many times has the earth gone through these cycles already? i think if we go back a lot further than the bible allows us we would see that it has happened a lot.



that would be nice. sounds a little more tangible but i think it will take a little more than looking to the skies.

i know you were not being seriouse but i wounder if a substantial allignment of sime sort could give electrical signals to our brain that may cause us to behave differently possibly making people less obedient to our regular routines and barriers.

Interesting topic, but if this is to truly occur, why must we assume it's bad news? It could just be yet another day in our Solar System. Or are we talking 2001: A Space Odyssey monolith-type sighting? I remember the planets were aligned in that movie...

Who am I to say it is or isn't the truth. Only time will tell us if such predictions and theories will come to pass, but very interesting information.



You have to wonder if anyone or group in Washington will even make a difference.

Has this happened before ? Yes.

Will this cause anything to happen ? Other than the usual planet alignment
marketing ploys, no.
