Satellite Images Reveal Mysterious Objects in the Dragon Triangle

Four unknown objects have been discovered in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, in an area known as the Dragon triangle. Three of these objects are disc-shaped and the fourth is rectangular. These astonishing images reveal that the disc-shaped objects measure about 60 feet in diameter and appear to be underwater. Are these old military missiles or something of alien origin?

I came across this story some minutes ago. The images are strange? What is this?

I see barges, boats, and what may be a crater from an old nuclear test.

Here's some pics from google earth to make it easier to check out.

At first I thought it could be a pearl farm or something, but have a look at the third photo... what the hell is that? an open door? missing roof panel? It would be huge whatever it is.

Guesss you did not scroll down the page, the mysterious items are explained there...

It is an island that the Japanese Gov't is preventing from sinking.

The brown fringe around the perimeter are man-made surf breakers.

The other object is also explained, heres an image:

And finally lots more images of the other features of the island, location, history etc found here: homepage2.nifty.com...

Yeah, it says so at the bottom of the page. A mystery has been solved

I wonder why is a bit of rock so important that the Japanese want to keep it above of water. It's an expensive project.

Because it extends their territorial waters.

Hence the dispute over whether it should actually be classified as an island/landmass.

Heres an interesting news piece concerning the island and the Chinese calling it "A BUNCH OF ROCKS" lol

Japan to protest China survey near Okinotori

Japan plans to lodge an official protest with China over its continued oceanographic surveying in Japan's exclusive economic zone around Okinotori Island, government sources said Sunday.

Japan urged China at a working-level meeting in Beijing on April 22 to stop the surveys, but Chinese officials claimed the surrounding waters cannot be regarded as an exclusive economic zone "because Okinotori Island is not an island but rocks."

and artifical rocks at that.

i think the Japaneese are taking that 'shoal' & making it into an island
with all that interlocking supersized maze work of concrete structures
making the perimeter 'wall' around the once & future island wich had
deteriored & got tide & windswept away since it was a bird refuge in an earlier era.

Japan, i think knows that there are gas & oil deposits in the area
so that's what the expensive project is all about, also about gaining a frontier territory to plant a flag on someday.

interesting...the story has a similar thing going on over in the Persian Gulf
with Dubai ? making that 'Palm Tree' Island within a Ring around the whole affair,,, rising out of the sea a new commerce and residential center

wow another post is searching for nuke silo styled structures inside Japan waters
another one searching the same in the Middle eastern desert.
has WWII started guys or do we still have time?

SF both threads anyway.

LOL Middle east thread already got 90 flags but Japan is still at almost 0.
I guess it's the ally thing.
