I would pick, Nick Cage....
Not really. I'm sure that everyone here knows I hate him.

I have no idea who should play him, Christopher Reeves did an awesome job but, I know it won't be him. I have no idea who should play him.

I really liked the Kevin Smith "Superman Lives" script, too bad it would have cost a fortune to make. As for actors I hope they go with all unknowns or up and coming actors. It's hard to do a new Superman because it's been done so many times on tv and in movies. Do you start from scratch and tell the origin that everyone allready knows or do what I think would be better and show him allready established as the greatest superhero.

I don't think he has the right face. It needs to be someone with sharp features.

I think it is Nick Cage. Why/where did I hear that?

Anyway, he makes sense.

Also, I would love Tina Fey as Lois Lane. I'm sick of all the good female parts going to teenagers.

It's almost conditioning... it looks weird now to see two stars the same age in a love interest. Goldie Hawn was Mel Gibson's girlfriend in Bird on a Wire...now she'd have to play his Mother!

Nick Cage wanted the job a while back, but the whole project fell apart and he switched to another comic book project. Now that it might be back on who knows who is being considered.

Tina Fey as Lois Lane would kick ass. She totally fits the part. Now, who could play Jimmy Olsen? Elijha Woods maybe? (Yeah, I know, i spelled it wrong.)

FABIO!!! lol jk ... What about Al Gore?!

Actually, Al Gore reminds me of that snide looking Eagle muppet from the Muppet Show.

I think The eagle muppet looks more like Dick Cheney.

Well, I still think Billy Zane would be great....but, if bald, he'd make a kick ass Lex too....

How about ?

Not sure on his acting ability, but certainly has the look....Evan Marriot, from Joe Millionaire

i think Bruce Campbell should be the next superman lol i mean look at him in the evil dead films. he could be clark kent anyday. although the film would probably be turned into a horror/comedy

For the lead role, definitely Rowan Atkinson.

Nicolas Cage plays the lead in Ghost Rider and won't be anywhere near Superman.

For Superman? Either Woody Allen or Hans Moleman.

Hmmm (scrolling back).... Now I wish Stiller hadn't made Mystery Men...

Ben Stiller and Tina Fey as Clark & Lois in a funny version.

For a gay version, James Marsters (William the Bloody)

Though he'd be a cool Lex Luther.

David Boreanz is kind of fat, dumb, old and slow now. Wow, he would be a good Superman.
