I've got a JOOST token, wanna trade?

Okay, here's the deal.

is a program that streams television through your computer. They currently have 26 channels which include Comedy Central, MTV, and The National Geographic channel. A friend gave me a token, which is more like a Gmail invite than a viewing token. The token lets you join, and use the program. Check out the site, and check out the forums to see what people are saying about it.

Anyway, I was given 5 tokens, and I've already given away 4 of them. I wanted to trade my last token for something cool to add to my computer. So here's the deal, I want you to tell me what you have. A cool program, cool website, a useful windows hack, a new OS, WHATEVER!!!!. Because I don't want to throw myself on the first thing that comes around, I'll set a deadline of 11:59pm Thursday, April 12. I'll review all of the suggestions, and trade for the best one.

I realize that I could just take the item you named in the mean time, and use it with no need to trade, so instead of posting the name of the item, just give me a brief description of it. On trading day I'll ask for the name, and a link.

I sent a request to Joost for Beta testing last year.
Last month I got a e-mail from them saying that they haven't forgot about me

So I'm still not a Beta tester. Really I just wanted to check it out and write about it in my blog. I don't think I'd use Joost very much just because of the bandwidth usage. Like Lys I have azureus and am usually downloading so that would probably slow down the Joost stream.

Do I have to watch commercials?

Thats the main reason I don't watch tv lol.

Every time I see a commercial a little piece of me dies.

It is true that torrents will slow down the stream, but not a hell of a lot that I've noticed. The major hindrance is the video card memory. They recommend at least 64mb. My home PC has 8 and it's been running fine though.

As for commercials, yes there are a few, but in 4 strait hours of watching (for test purposes) I only saw 1 commercial for orbit gum.

And BTW, now I'm going to DL Azureus and not give you JOOST. HA!

(actually, if I find out Azureus is the best app. in the thread, you'll still get JOOST.)

I'll also clarify.....

I can't take a direct trade for copyrighted material. Photoshop requires a license, and this would equate to software piracy if I took your copy of Photoshop Bo.

I suppose I should have said that in the first post.

With Photoshop off the list, Lys takes the lead as the only option in the thread.

lol...I guess the Lime Wire does suck. I really don't know what else to offer. In all honesty I really don't even know what Lys offered or how to top it. Is there a way to send a whole CD's worth of information through email or something. Is so I might be able to give you the Drum Kit From Hell 2 program. Although that might violate the copyright thing. I dont know.

If not I drop out of the race.

DA, you said that you can make avatars as well. Maybe you can make one, and if I decide to use it, I'll throw you the token.

Lys offered a torrent program, which is like limewire, but on steroids.

Tell me what you would like in the form of an Avatar. If you can U2U me some ideas that are on your mind or a theme you like that would be a huge help.
