Nobody.....and I mean NOBODY puts ketchup on a hotdog......

Onion,brown mustard, sour kraut, hots, and radish pickles baby.....

chili and lots and lots of cheese.........

I don't like hotdogs that much... mmm mushed up bit of what is supposedly pig but i will but both mustard and tomatoe sauce on if im forced to take away the taste completely



MY boyfriend puts brown sauce on everything - including hotdogs and ham and cheese sandwiches now THATS gross

It's just that easy...but don't watch the ptomaine torpedoes being manufactured or there just ain't enough condiments!!!

Now, look good dr, I understand about the whole ketchup aversion by some, but truth is, it's all about exposure.

When I was a kid, I was given hot dogs with ketchup on them and thats how I ate them, and thought they were to be eaten. I dind't like mustard until I was an adult, and now I can enjoy a hot dog with ketchup or mustard or both...

I sometimes like them loaded too-onions, tomatos etc, even mustard & sourcraut or chili (but no liquid artifical cheese food product please!)

However, the best hot dogs I've had were the ones I had in northern Maine. Not from Maine myself, I was skeptical at first, but these hotdogs, made of red weiners & mayonaise on a warm, toasted buttered bun, were truly a treat. Yum!

I can't say I eat all my dogs that way now, but occassionally when I want something more rich, I'll take a regular weiner and butter a toasted bun and add mayo....yum!

The basic version is a mess of french fries...freedom fries, whatever...covered in brown gravy and cheese curds (which melt). I've had variations which include Italian (motz and spaghetti sauce), or with bacon and onions as well. Artery clogging goodness!! Personally, I like it sprinkled with vinegar too!!

Mustard on Hot Dog = Yes.

All this talk about ketchup on a hot dog is making me hungry! It's almost lunch time and theres not a single hot dog in the house....maybe I'll just have some ketchup

Hot dog with stoneground mustard and minced onion, and some pepper sauce...oh god its rapture. Yummy...

i went downstairs to boil one up but thers no buns!! ahh what am i to do? i dont think theres any good hotdog joints around here...

if i got a hotdog i would load it up with a hint of ketchup and a nice amount of mustard.. mmmmm

My problem with red on hotdogs is that, hotdogs are already red.

It's a question of aesthetics and artistic integrity. Good taste is often a burden!

Personally, I think that you have to have ketchup on a hot dog, but not just ketchup. You have to have mustard, relish onions, among other things. The real hot dogs are at the Martinsville speedway (NASCAR, for all you people who are not rednecks, sorry if I offended ya'll). They have famous hot dogs.
