Do you get extra ATS points for debating? Or some applause when you win?
Got's ta admit, I like the applause.....dangerous little bit of seduction there...
Hey Justin when can we debate which is better the Yukon or Alaska? I hear there's a predominance of men up there....in the capital it's 5 gals per
guy - I don't think it shows in Parliament, though.
Although I don't know if this chatter is exactly appropriate to this thread - I just want to thank 2l8sk8 for the debate - now we're both
'fighters'.

Now, now. There's no need for that kind of violence on these forums.

I'm happy to debate pretty much anything. Just not politics or religion. Okay, that takes off 99.9% of the topics, but anyway . . . someone send me a
U2U!
Hey. I messaged the MOD to have myself debate kamikaze style. Perhaps you could be my opponent! Chissler... can you arrange this, please?
Thanks

I could debate various social issues or spiritual/paranormal topics.
If anyone has propositions let me know and we'll discuss it.

Just be patient and I will assign to you to one shortly. In the mean time, read up on the rules and regulations of the debate, so it runs
smoothly.

'like the applause'....heck I need it!! Points points I need points...and a bar...and validation!
(Does begging ever help?) Damn, I'm needy.

Yeah, titles are as cool as points. 'writer-fighter' man, that just makes me shiver all a quiver
I'm psyched
Thank you, as well, clearwater. It was a good refreshing debate. My best to you.

Hey my ATS Brethren. I've been in the hallowed H2H ring. I've enjoyed the experience each time. As many of you know, I am not afraid of diving into
the most controversial of issues. If anyone might be interested is lacing the gloves with me, let's talk, and see if we might come up with a subject
that works for both of us.

Just in case you guys think debate is a useless skill, check this. One of MY argument pieces is being looked
at by a Presidential candidate. The skills you learn on ATS H2H really can help you do good things.

That link didn't work for me Justin, I suspect you're toying with my frustration levels, trying to make me jealous of your suitors - so as to thwart
my thinking - I challenge you to a ......, oops, lost my leather glove - I challenge you to a typing.

It does appear that the link has expired. You have my apologies. Someone had posted my essay that starts
this thread on the BB for Kucinich's web site. Seems they thought I made some good
points that their guy should try to argue against. Even as a dark master of politics, I can't always anticipate these things. I will (of course)
have one of my minor minions randomly selected and flogged.

Excellent, a flogging, would that be anything like a.., spanking?
There aren't stalemates, there are rematches, and extra points to be hoarded, like mammon in a cave chuckling away on his mountain of pretty gold
nuggets....
Heehee, t'was fun and I'm surprised con got anywhere near 'won'.
Seriously though, in conclusion - I'll repeat a statement I recently u2u'ed 2m8keall2c - for practical reasons, I'm pro choice....it's true,
women do an awful lot of labor for free, that would cost zillions to replace for a dollar.

Clearwater- Great debate, and I am happy to share the win with you.
Leave it to two women arguing to leave everyone stumped, eh?
Fellow fighters, nothing to do? Check out our abortion debate and offer some constructive criticism! I know I could learn alot from all of you, and I
want to.
I want to debate again too...man, that was fun.

Hey Chissler, I have another suggestion.
Can we get another button at the bottom of each member's posts that will allow any other member to request a debate with them on a moment's notice?
This button could be set to auto-send a U2U to both the person being challenged, as well as to the moderator of the H2H forums, ala you, for the
organization of the debate to commence.
I think something like this would be a great contribution to both ATS as well as to your Debate forums. It would inspire intelligent debates on the
fly. We could even have a mini debate format set up for these kinds of challenges, all depending upon the member's wishes, of course.
Lemme know what you think.

Creative idea, but that is something that Skeptic would have to implement. And given that a very small percentage of the population on ATS partake in
structured debates, thousands would ask what this button, that they have no use, is for.
So while I think it is creative and would help out those that do participate, it might not be feasible to implement for everyone.
But, I recommend that you pass it on through the appropriate methods.
ATS, BTS, What would you like to see in the future?

Please don't pick gun control...please don't pick gun control...please don't pick...
Gun Control? Sure, I'll debate you on gun control.. anyday of the week. Hold on, I'll be right back!

I meant that in a good way clearwater...they just couldn't find either one of us wrong...because women are always right.
oops....I did it again....
Hmmm...Machiavellian...I had a Doberman named Prince Machiavelli. He was a good dog. Faithful. Fiercely loyal. Protective. One day my mom came
hom and just gave him away.
Well, anyway, our debate was a rather duplicitous arguement anyway, don't you think?
