Actually, I am pro-choice too, but I am willing to debate for the sake of a debate, especially my first real debate! Besides, it looks like everyone is starting to pair up, so we might as well jump in.

So sure, I'll take the be pro life stance-it isn't really a stetch for me I guess, as I am passionate about life.

Now, I guess since you are challenging me, and you are pro-choice, the debate is titled and begins with your stance of pro-choice, right?

So, should the debate be titled:

"Abortion: Every Woman's Right to Choose"

Now, nothing against ImpliedChaos here, but should we set forth some debate etiquette that states if you challenge someone, in public and/or u2u, then you should not challenge another, nor accept another's challenge to debate, until you... finish what you've stearted so to speak?

I'm jealous of the other subjects agreed upon too-criminals loss of rights and capital punishment etc. I'd have done either one of those.

Anyone else still looking for an opponent for anything? A punching bag? I just need to have some knowledge or an opinion on something and I'd go for just about any subject then.

I've received all of the requests for the debates, and I will author the threads shortly. Everyone will be awarded the Fighter status, if they have not been already, and it should be noted that you can not post to the H2H forum until you have the status.

Looks I have the weekend all to myself. No challengers for me. See you all on Monday.

I'd be willing to, as long as people are very patient with me. Debating, rebuttles, etc... are not amongst my strong points. Interests would be:

1) Historical.

2) Social Issues, particularly crime and punishment, victims rights...etc...

There might be something else that perks my interest...

Debates

You were forced to forfeit the debate. The external quote tags were something we did not discuss before hand, so it was a non issue when the other member used them. I don't like to see that much of a post consist of text from other websites, and we will address that in future debates, but the one golden rule that can not be broken is editing our posts. Once you hit that post reply button, the post stands. In the list of rules & guidelines, that was the one rule that I bolded. It was bolded for a reason as it needed to stand out.

From here on out, if members wish to participate in a H2H debate, I'm going to politely ask that we read the rules at least once.

Incidents like this should not happen.
