What happens if one of this bombs hit each other in mid air? I guess they would explode, but they never seem to.

Bombs do not explode on impact, they explode when their fuse mechanisms tell them to.

bombs are released individually, so that they cannot collide. Even if they did, bombs work off a mechanism that is no longer impact-dependant.
