It's possible, but if that were the case I'd think we'd be more likely to see them at Nellis AFB in Nevada, where they do Red Flag. That's an interesting idea though.

I am suspecting that these are part of an upcoming airshow somewhere with in the US. They could have easily flown in from another town, and stopped for either a break from flying, some sort of maintenance, or several other reasons such as being moved from one air field to another for storage or houseing. As for the exact type, I'm not sure, but I can tell you we see alot of various styles of air craft around the Twin Cities - everything from old WWII fighters, to current modern planes, and planes from other countries that various groups and / or clubs own. They could also be there as some part of educational thing.

Any chance that they were actually F-15's from Nellis AFB there is a squadron of Agressors flying them from there.

F-15 BLUE CAMO

Thats a beautiful pic

The OP refered to canted tails though, and the F-15's are vertical.

I swear I've seen a picture of an Agressor F-18 in a Su-27 style blue/grey/white caouflage pattern somewhere.

I am searching for photos now.

EDIT: Here you go:

F-18 Aggressor

F-18 Aggressor 2

F-15 BLUE CAMO

Nope they deff had SHARP V tails

now that ive seen pics of the F 18s in that camo im torn but im fairly certain that the V was a sharper angle than the 18s like the noticeable gap between the stabilizers where they emit from the fuselage. What i saw looked like the v met and the fuselage. Does this make sense. The Iranian jet looks like the V comes to a almost point on the fuselage.

The Saeqeh tails are exactly like the Hornet. Here's a shot of them.

They're the only ones that *I* know of, and if you say it was between an F-15 and B-1 in size, there's no way possible that it was a Saeqeh.

I'm thinking the same. It could be the Hornet. Or the F-35. Only few aircraft that has canted tail.

I doubt they'd be F-35s, if they were painted blue and white like that. The only pics of the F-35 that I've seen has had them grey, and there are only a few of them flying around.

The US probably doesnt have F18's with that color scheme, but they could be Canadian CF-188's.

They are a modified version of the F18. Tell me, did it look like they had a cockpit painted under the fueselage? We paint a cockpit under the aircraft to mess with the enemy's head.

The Air Force does actually have some of the advanced Soviet jets, but I do not know if they have the SU-27. Since the fall of the Soviet Union, it has been much easier for the US to acquire the planes from former Soviet Satellites. I believe they use them in wargames as mentioned previously. I am sorry I do not have a link. Please read INTERNATIONAL AIR POWER REVIEW

I was just on Coast To Coast Am website. A listener submitted this picture of a Raptor f-22A. Maybe it was this you saw?

Also, on Wikipedia, there is another picture here.
