I have thought about this for quite sometime.

There are many, many people out in the world and who post here on this board who hav some great ideas. However, I fear that in the end, it will all come to naught.

Let me explain. Unless there is some unified movement to construct real change in the world, we will remain on the slippery slope into a very bleak looking future.

There are many humanitarians on this board who, even though I may or may not agree with, I have the utmost respect for. Despite some of my posts on immgration and such, I do care about humanity. However, humanity also includes those in my nation and I don't think that we should set aside our own well-being for the sake of everyone elses. I don't think we have any scacrificial messiahs floating around here.

Anyway, to the point of this thread. Unlesss there is someone who can unify all of us similar minded peopl,I don't think we will ever be able to effect real change. We can sit here and "get the word out" all we want to, unless some "superstar" arises who can unify our ideologies it will be all for naught.

I hate to say it, but I don't think it will ever happen. Why? Too many varied and contradictory beliefs. Hell, I even have some beliefs that contradict other beliefs that I have!!
We all do.

What I am essentially saying is that people have too many varying beliefs in the populace to ever be able to unify under one gorup or movement to effect any real change. The sad part of it is, we could do it if it was human nature to put differences aside. Alas, that is generally not the case.

I started a thread in the 911 forum about this, although mine was not as eloquent as this. Yes, this is exactly what I was trying to say in my thread on 911, even if 60% of Americans believes the Government was involved will we be organized enough to bring those people together and decide on a plan of action, I seriously doubt it. So if thats the case whats the point of spreading the truth?
Anyway, didnt mean to hijack your thread but what you said nalied what I was thinking, just on a different subject
Thank you for laying it out so well!

Nothing changes because most people become so fixated on " The Thing" whatever that "thing" is, that they loose sight of the big picture.

That and the fact that all of the disenchanted, disenfranchised people I know dont bother to vote.

I believe TV, video games, music, computers, etc have a lot to do with this. I believe as long as people are 'comfortable' and feel 'secure' in front of their TV's watching American Idol, they don't want to know the 'truth'.

IMO there are two things that can change that. First is if there is an economical collapse in which people start 'looking' for answers... "why is everyone out of a job while the rich and powerful live the life of luxury". The other is if someone with a lot of money and power has been double crossed by the 'system' and comes out. The problem there is that they also are 'comfortable' in their lives... why would they want to change that?

It looks bleak IMO. I feel like people in that do want change are, unfortunately, only beating a dead horse.

RWPBR,yes. I have also many times stated that there is a conspiracy but all of the usual suspects aren't the real perpetrators. People have been duped in regards as to who the real culprits are, in my honest opinion.

On contrary, I sense more and more of the dosile masses that has been zombiefied to the point of brainwash are waking up to the real truth. That this whole concept of life that has been with them since their beginning has been a huge misleading lie to supress the human from knowing its true potential. I mean that we are more than just carbon based bipedal lifeforms. We are the truth. We are the life. We are the creators. Their is only one truth and that is energy is whatever convayed construct. They "dumb" us down to keep the masses from seeking the true inner peace and to keep them from waking up to the world.

Thank you for the kind words. I try to be a beneficial poster here. Sometime I, admittedly, get a bit carried away, but.. hey, who doesn't?

I would agree, but (no offense)...

so what?

I mean people can talk and argue amd protest all they want. But the machine just keeps on rolling along.

We all do.

I think this is an important point also. There are threads upon threads of 9/11 "facts" that all sound great but contradict to the point of turning people off. It's increasingly hard to find the 'truth'.

Yeah, Mecheng, this is something that spreads into all aspects of looking for the truth. There are so many varied and differentiated ideas about what is in fact true that one gets to the point where he/she just throws his hands up in the air and says, "Hell, it's all wrong because if it wasn't, there would be some kind of cohesion there."

The machine keeps rolling, because people are obviously controlled by fear..because if we did step up and Peacefully try to change things they would use the ultimate fear of death in order to scare the masses back into "line". Untill we see death in a different manner and try to look past the electronic stimulus that is emotion (E-Motion) (electronic motion), to overcome the Fear that controlls.

See, Earthone, that's the thing, peace will never be achieved by peaceful means. Look it at this way, a bully keeps bullying until you club the bastard upside the head with something.

I guess because every action has an opposite and equal reaction. That is one the curses of the third dimension.

Yes, that can be said. While it is great to try to do things peacefully, in all truthfulness, I don't think that there will be true peace until a great battle classically known as the war between "Good and evil" takes place. That time is approaching at an alarming rate.

However, the biggest question in most people's minds is going to be, "Who is good and who is evil." Everyone is going to think they are fighting on the side of the good.

When you talk about this "great battle", I know and many others know exactly what you are talking about, and just thinking about it makes me excited to a point where my metabolism kicks in and i have to take a major dump
. The ones that have wisdom and are true will see past the good and evil, and realize that everything just is. I agree that this time is close at hand. There are way too many "signs" and evidence to back it up.

Earthone, true... I think it's important for people to realize that in the end, everything will be okay. It's easy to get anxious about these things, but, a knowledge that these things must happen in order for us to acheive our "destiny" always helps to curb the anxiousness.

We can cause real change. I myself changed a lot since 6 months ago when by mistake I saw a "conspiracy" video about 9/11. Then I searched for myself , and I found out many things , not only about 9/11
I decided others must know too and I started posting on many forums, I was afraid of being watched by some internet CIA agents, at first, but I got over it, now I don't really care even if they have me on some list , freedom is not an exterior thing.
Seeing that video turned my world upside down, I became more spiritual, my life is more Zen like now
. I hope it will have the same effect on other people, that is how we can change the world, when every person is changed the world is changed
No government can stop the change in the way people think about the world. I do not hate the ones responsible for 9/11.
Starting a revolution, replacing them, changing the system to socialism or whatever, means nothing as long as people do not change, and remain materialist and ego centered- which we are taught is the "right way to live" starting from school.

Pai Mei, while it is true that we can make internal personal changes, I don't see much changing globally. It seems that the world's governments are still involved with despotic behavior and the masses are pretty much allowing it to go on.

I think the whole 9/11 episode should be viewed from a spiritual perspective. It, at least in my opinion, is representative of the coming collapse of materialism.
