US military looking to develop saucer craft?

apologies if this has been posted already, but what i find interesting is that the US military has come out and said that they are interested in using this technology.

My question is.....are they sincere in using the Coanda effect shown here...or will they use this technology as a plausible cover story for any anti-grav craft they want to start using openly.
