So the Great Plains of America are depopulating. Foreign competition, the rise of large-scale farming, etc. are closing down the farms in that area.
It's sad but with every cloud there is a silver lining. The Great Plains are where many tribes once pursued a lifestyle of nomadic buffalo hunting.
Could the abandoned territory be made into a "buffalo commons" where buffalo are set loose and the original inhabitants can once again roam the
plains, living off the land like their ancestors?
