So the Great Plains of America are depopulating. Foreign competition, the rise of large-scale farming, etc. are closing down the farms in that area. It's sad but with every cloud there is a silver lining. The Great Plains are where many tribes once pursued a lifestyle of nomadic buffalo hunting. Could the abandoned territory be made into a "buffalo commons" where buffalo are set loose and the original inhabitants can once again roam the plains, living off the land like their ancestors?

Buffalos are in plenty of areas where they can 'roam'...IE: Yellowstone.
And are you referring to the Indians? Indians have several reservations...this isn't hollywood, they dont cry when we litter in their fields. Today’s Indians get their money for free, from the US Gov and their Casinos...and they blow it all of booze & drugs.
