WyrdeOne -- no problems -- I've been on the receiving end of a scathing reply and swore to try to not ever make anyone feel quite like that Actually though we are all new sometime and we can all make mistakes.

I know! It makes it weird in one of two possible ways! Connecticut accidentally sounds an alarm, and now this...OR

making sure the pipes are clear? Did you notice how the one authority stated that now that they had sounded at least we know they'll work if we need them!

Val -- i think that is unlikely -- we have had them to test the sirens for the nuclear plant in the past and they always announce the heck out of it before hand. I doubt someone managed to forget to do the warnings --- but they are some pretty big mistakes if they were mistakes -- I tend to think along the lines of what would happen if the alarms sound --- hmmmm let's see.

What do all them colourful wavy lines mean? No, I'm serious. That rumble lasted for quite some time. What specifically could it be indicationg?

What the heck is with all the airtraffic by MSH?

These pics show five separate contrails in 10 minutes! There are two "pairs" in them as well.

That certainly is strange with the contrails....

BTW there was a big story in our local paper here about the snowy mountains and the cloud seeding project they are undertaking there at the moment...I am glad i am at the top end of the country right away from it

Look at Rainer and Adams and Hood. It looks alot like how St Helens looked before it erupted. any comments?
