If there are in fact 58 different types of humanoid aliens: Are we to become extenict?

When viewing the newly released video by Steven Greer, I decided to jump to a prior video which had Gov. officals saying that they were going to testify to congress about the fact that aliens do exsist. One of these government Military guys said that there were in fact 58 different types of aliens, some are in fact part human.
If this is true could it be that we are like going to become extenict?
Like that of Neanderthals? Or like other primative cavemen types which no longer exsist?
Could there be plans to exterminate us so that other more advanced alien crossed humans can populate the planet?

Why does everyone always assume ETs are hostile? IMHO, if they wanted to annihilate us, they could have done it a long time ago.

From an advanced point of view, it could be theorized that they are helping us develop because at some point in time we can be counted on to repay the favor.

Why are they so secretive then?
Why don't they bi-pass government and just be open to the public?
I heard there was some sort of deal made with them, that they would be allowed to experiments on us for exchange with weapons technology?
Could this be true?

Here's a highly speculative personal theory. At one point in time, aliens and humans lived together on Earth and collaborated to form a number of highly advanced societies, among those Atlantis, Lemuria, Mu, some of the ancient cultures of India, etc. I could really elaborate here but I assume you're familiar with the ancient astronaut theories.

The technologically advanced but philosophically immature humans recklessly abused alien technology, a colossal power struggle ensued between the human nations, most of which were almost completely destroyed as was the entire human race. The smartest of the survivors made a pact with the aliens to keep alien technology secret, aliens themselves, and to control man's technological evolution. In other words, to hold man back for his own good. The survivors were the progenitors of many of today's secret societies.

I believe you maybe on to something here, I have always thought the Aztecs were in contact with aliens by the way the carved symbols which seem to be space craft. Also another good thought is the Alien-vs-Preditor movie, maybe there is some truth behind that movie, it's one of my favorites.

It seems that through our history, there have been different types of hominids living along side some of our primitive ancestors, at different points in our evolutionary history. Those that did not have genetic mutations adapting them to their environment, just faded and died off. Different lineages of primitive ancestors existed along side each other with different genetic traits. It could be possible that we won't become extinct, but that some of us will continue on evolving, while those who do not obtain the necessary genetic mutations will surely die off because they will not be able to adapt to the new environment. If there are 58 species of humanoids, flying around in space, I'd like to think that they are just different lineages of humanity that have developed in other planets, with their own genetic mutations to adapt them to their respective environments. If they are trying to introduce a hybrid race of their own, I think there would be no need to eliminate us because, slowly, their D.N.A. manipulation will change every body on earth adapting us to the hybrids.

In support of my own theory (shameless self-promoter, I know! ), consider how often these themes occur in human mythology/fiction:

Gods or godlike beings responsible for the foundation of civilization.
A golden age in the distant past.
A cataclysmic event that almost wipes out mankind, usually due to man's "sins".
A select group of people who have communication with Gods and use this communication to direct the development of society.

It's kind of like whoever wrote these stories was trying to tell you something without telling you something.

Why did we suddenly become "civilized" and started to build cities and stuff? Where did this "sudden" intelligence come from? I believe our ancestors were actually astronauts from another world. Whether these astronauts mixed with the earthlings or not, I don't know. But I'm pretty sure we are not from this world. Bigfoot/Sasquatch/Ksy-Gyik/Yeti/Tungu/etc. are probably pure species of the earth. And the neandertals were as well. We are the aliens, and we don't even know it. This is just a theory, btw. Don't take any of what I said in this post as scientific facts...

They likely have quite strict laws about the conditions under which they can make open public contact like that.

Look at what happened to the Native Americans when the white-men first made contact - their entire civilization was pretty much destroyed from the resulting culture shock. They caught many diseases that they had no immunity to, they had huge problems with alcohol, their spirituality and way of life was ruined....

So the ETs likely have a policy of guiding civilizations into the Space Age very slowly and gently, rather than touching down in the middle of the Superbowl or some such thing.

Become extinct? Be exterminated as a rapidly breeding vermin more like - you do realise just how fast the human population is growing?

There's about 500,000,000 more people on the planet today than there was a the turn of the century!

If aliens have any involvement at all, maybe they're factory farming us?

As much as I like to keep an open mind, I have to be critical of that claim.

I mean, seriously... who got to count each of the 58 different types of aliens? How old is the information that there are only 58 types? Perhaps in the past few weeks, we might have had a 59th type visit us with that LA Worm Alien?

I'd be more inclined to believe phrases like: "a number of aliens", "at least a few dozen", etc... but exactly 58 seems like a number drawn from a barrel to me.

i thnk he says there are at least 58 types of known alien races, so for all we know there could be hundereds more that have not yet visited us or have but we just dnt kno about it.

Sounds like a good idea to me! This infested planet needs a population transplant with an upgraded species with a better "peace" chip installed. An intelligence chip wouldn't go amiss either.

You make it sound like a failure on the indian's part. So if the ETs show themselves, we will become infected with diseases, our planet grabbed, interned and killed, all due to ourselves.

There is the possiblity that life and how we think and envision life could be unique to earth, just like every other planet's lifeforms have unique twists due to that planet's environment. Our speculation may be way, way off.

I guess all those that died before the aliens got back are settling in a marinade of dirt and wood, to create the ultimate human jerky!

Evidence: Two distant groups of natives separated by vast waters and land have nearly identical singing styles. The native Americans, and the native Lappish people of Norway.

The traditional singing/chanting of the Lappish is called joik. You can get a good example of that by listening to Wimme, cugu music samples: www.amazon.com...=pd_sim_m_3/104-3573848-8419927 the similarities are shocking.

And what part about that theory isn’t scientific? It may not be a fact (yet?) but it’s feasible.

There are many people that believes that man is made in the image of god, what does a little grey guy with a big head do to many of the religions in the world. Religions that most of the world's laws are based on?

Which of course begs the question, what if God *IS* an alien?

The only way we are going to become extinct is if we decide to drop the bomb on someone and start a mutually destructive nuclear war.

If you look at humanity in the whole scheme of things, we are aliens as well.

What kind of egocentric view would it be if everything foreign to us is an alien, while something that isnt a Homo Sapien is probably looking at us saying, "look at those aliens".

I dont see how us becoming extinct has to do with 58 other types of humanoid looking beings. The only thing that will happen is whoever compiles the list will have to change 58 to 59 to include earthlings.

Simple fix. No?
