I dont think the Americans really care about surprising Iran with an attack.

I remember watching the US invade iraq live on CNN, and i had easily enough time to grab popcorn and a comfortable seat before the lights went out in bagdad.

Americans dont give a rats what the Iranians think, otherwise there might have been at least one conversation between the two nations leaders before talks of invasion.

Once Bush and co. think there is enough public support for an invasion, then that is when it will happen, and no ones going to care if Iran knows its going to happen.

Seriously, the U.S. does not announce military operations to the mass media, and I have doubts that any attack would be more than surgical air strikes on nuclear facilities and other military targets.

It may well be that the U.S. does not intend to attack Iran at all, in spite of Iran's cajoling and posturing. I guess North Korean leader Kim still awaits our attack too, as much as he begged us to strike. Wishful thinking on both their parts, trying to convince the world that they even merit our attention when they are so insignificant in the overall scheme of things.

actually everyones confused I have been massing on the iraqi border and soon I will march across the strait that seperates iraq from iran (thats right march....walk on water) and there will be no mercy.....err...everyone does that so there will be MUCH mercy and in the confusion ill escape with the ufo that crashed in iran a few weeks ago....its the perfect crime....or something (before you crucify me for trying to be funny i just agree with everyone else if america was going to invade we wouldnt know till it happens)

Even with the hostage crisis and the recent protest attack on the British Embassy in Iran.

An attack on Iran at this time would be disastrous for all concerned. Any hope of getting these hostages back would evaporate in an instant and at the moment surely that is the most important thing.

It could happen tomorrow! And I hope it does and I hope they get those Brits out of there alive. And Iran can kiss my ass, whatever happens to them happens.
