Darn, looks like I was right about the DOS - it was because of us and the rest of the world trying to get access. Ohhhh well, I will have to wait for a few days... perhaps then traffic will slow...
Right now all I am getting is:
"Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."

Whoa - I was reading the Yahoo News article about the release, and they included this photograph (supposedly part of the French UFO files) with the caption, "This 1972 photo from the US Air Force shows a space probe after a test flight in New Mexico." Whaa?? Has anyone heard of the USAF having a program like this??

Really, all the time, they are exploring different aspects of getting astronauts back into the atmosphere without bursting into flames. This device looks like its attached to strings (ie, parachute), so could be an escape module from the 70s.
Just a guess.

There appear to be radial lines emanating from the "craft", although the saucer is impressive and made me stop and stare for many minutes.
When vehicles re-enter the atmosphere, they are equipped with units that have explosives set to jettison the parachute/parachutes array from the vehicle at the proper altitude so the chutes and the cables won't disintegrate.
I am certain the tech exists to manufacture cables that would support re-entry vehicles. It has been in use by the U.S. and the Russians for decades.
As for the size of the UFO, perspective and picture cropping can provide a tricky estimation sometimes of actual size....

I suggest that all ATS members from the US try to access the site only at the end of the night.
At that time Europe will be asleep, so almost all traffic will be from the US, maybe then you can see something.
I will try it tomorrow morning, when all America is still asleep.

It's a Viking space probe from 1972.

I've just done a search on Viking 1+2 and they look nothing like that picture. And yes i looked at both the orbiters and the landers.
Following a supersonic test flight in 1972, a Viking space probe awaits recovery at White Sands Missile Range.

I'm not really sure why you're trying to create some confusing regarding that picture, but whatever.
