Beatles Backmasking? Hidden messages? - Video.

Whoever made this can not spell to save his life, but interesting.
Some of the lyrics played backwards, don't make much sense, but just a few are strange.

Were they purposely placed there, at least some.

The Beatles were the first band, which backmasked some lyrics. Officially, they did it only once. But allegedly, they did it much more often!

I don't know. If they actually made sense, then I might have agreed. But most of them is senseless gibberish. I suppose you hear what you want to hear? Interesting nonetheless. A lot of "Paul is dead" conspiracy in there...

All that backward stuff is hogwash except for Revolution Number "9". I use to record music a long time ago, and we would hear things backwards, it happens, it isn't on purpose.

Revolution #9 on the other hand, John was doing backward looping etc.

I've looked into some beatles theories about paul is dead etc. and the more I see the more I think that they were just some goofy guys that wanted to mess with people. I mean think about it, they got tired of all the publicity and obsession so they through in some wacky stuff to get people all worked up about nonsense. Just my opinion based on their attitudes toward the public.

If you are singing stuff like that then I'm pretty sure anything you play backwards is just as meaningless and goofy. They prolly got a good laugh from it all

The only ones I think are believable are

"I'm So Tired" and "Revolution 9" and I'll admit those creeped me out quite a bit.

I'm 99% sure The Beatles put the cryptic "messages" about Paul being dead in the songs for people to play on their records backwards, tell their friends "OMG THERE'S SOME MESSAGE ON (soandso) RECORD!!" so they'll go out and buy it. Purely a publicity stunt!

If Paul was really dead and they were trying to keep it a secret, why on earth would they put it on their songs at the height of their popularity anyway? There was a fan crazed enough to shoot one of the members, shouldn't there be one crazed enough to play through all the songs backwards to find "hidden messages"?

And also, this reminds me of the "Reptilian in Nebula" thread because you can always hear or see anything in nothing. And most of the time it's purely your imagination.

A more recent example of this would be My Name Is, by Eminem. When you reverse the chorus, you hear "It's Eminem! It's Eminem!" Good skills, but really, nothing more than a gimmick.

It's pretty much been proven that they liked to tinker with the sound equipment and were always trying to try innovative new sounds on their tracks.

I'm pretty sure the art of backmasking did not allude them at all.

Lennon was shot as predicted and it matches Mark Chapman's story that he was ordered by Lucifer's demons to kill John Lennon.

Mark David Chapman, imo, was a mk delta-programmed assassin. There has been some debate about whether the abuse inherent in the programming creates alters or whether there is actual possession going on. I tend to think it's impossible to "split" a mind, ie have multiple focal points of attention in this dimension.

I think what's going on is reverse speech - not so much back-masking.

According to EMI engineer, Geoff Emerick (Revolver, Sgt Peppers, MMT, Abbey Road), they got the "fever" for playing material backwards (which they first put to use in Revolver) after John, who was technically inept, did it by accident with his reel-to-reel machine at home.

A lot of what they did was certainly drug-fueled.

But when they did it, it's obvious. If you play enough of anything backwards...if you play West Side Story backwards, you're probably going to hear SOMETHING that resembles a short phrase in English (or Spanish), although it wasn't put there deliberately.
