First let me tell a quick story on where this idea came from.
I had to get my d/l renewed last week, so the wife and I
were at the DMV(we have the same birth month) and the
DMV clerk asked both of us if we wanted to register to vote.

Although I am slightly ashamed to admit it, i have never voted
in my life or even been registered before.
We both said yes.
I now feel that after watching our current president tear away
at the constitution and completely ignore checks/balances that
Congress is setup to enforce, I could not say no to registering
and now it is starting to develop into an obsession to find out
as much info on each candidate that i can.
What their plans for the future might be, their views on
current issues, etc.
I have found this link that I thought would be useful to
other members as well.

Mods.... it would be great if we could create a research project
or forum that outlines each candidates views on current issues
and what their future plans would be.
I feel this coming election in 2008 will be our most important ever
in the history of the U.S.
Also fellow members... i urge you please do not vote purely on
party lines this election but take the time to research each
candidate's views on issues like the patriot act, immigration,
Iraq war, etc....
It would be a great tragedy to cast a blind vote.

Patriot36 why don't you use this forum to ask questions and post information you have dug up about the candidates ?
Cheers xpert11.
