All I am trying to say is that things are not always as they seem to be. Have you seen all the pictures of Iraqis holding American flags? It seems to me that more Iraqis support us being there than Americans.

Then why in Christ name are the American military still dying in such numbers? Evidentially some Iraqis don't want us in their country.

Pictures don't mean anything.

But on the other hand, the casualty rate in Iraq isn't that bad. Though casualties at all are in a way.

If you noticed, I didn't say all Iraqis. Yes, there are people dying, but a lot of the people killing our troops aren't even from Iraq. Plus, Iran is supplying these enemies with weapons. I would expect us to start fighting with them soon too. My friends and I would joke around and say that Pres. Buch must be playing a live version of Risk, which if you think about it could be true. But we still support his decisions.
