That's basically just balanced magnets. It relies on heavy duty magnets in the 'plate' below for it to hover like that.

Not quite that simple
Its basically magnetic repulsion, and the only reason why its stable is due to the rotation. I have on of these at home, and they're pretty fun.


I think the aliens have a much more advanced version which manipulates gravity or creates its own gravity around the craft.

I know it's more complicated than a toy, but same principals for sure.

Since our entire universe is made up of, and held together with little magnets, once you figure out how to take advantage of them, well, the universe is your playground ;-)

The dude at Coral Castle sure had some working knowledge of getting those little magnets to work for him. Some of the stones he moved were larger than the ones used in the building of the pyramids.
