emotional predictions

has anybody ever had a feeling that something bad would happen. at one point i had a very bad feeling that something horrible would happen and i felt that way for hours. later that night i learned that my grandmother had died. later i had that same bad feeling and it felt worse. i soon found out that my father had been having an affair and asked my mother for a divorce. there have been injuries illneses and deaths that i have felt (indirectly). and i was wondering what this is called and it anybody has experienced this
