Well ... this might be a stretch for some of you.
I have been playing around with this for a couple of weeks now.
It seems to have an electrical connection .. so to speak. I use my aura to shield the noise out. If you meditate on this a bit, it comes pretty
easily. I would like to see if my aura (electrical field) changes color during this exercise.
I feel like I am in a silent bubble. If I stop focusing on this, the ringing comes back like a flood. Concentrate on my aura and pop, the bubble kicks
in and I have silence.
It seems like you can put up your own force field. I think this is referred to as changeing your matrix??? Hey, if science can't figure it out, then
you need to reach out further than accepted scientific theory for the answer.
Happy shielding!

I can turn mine on and off, make it louder or softer, its not really a ring is a high pitched whisper going on and on etc..
Light workers are supposed to have it.
I've got the ringing right now but it goes away depending on my concentration levels, hard for me though..in a way its peaceful if u wana relax,
maybe your noise evnvironment isn't safe, is your T.V always on, or always listening to loud music?

Just been reading into this.
Electro magnetic hearing
Very interesting, epically having people subjected to radar to test if they could 'hear' it, I've spent a lot of my child hood life within 5 miles
of an airport, right under the incoming flight path.

every so often one of my ears will go deaf for 1 second, then I'll hear a ringing noise that gets louder over about 4 seconds. Then it goes back to
normal. Not sure why...

As displeasing as this is going to be for you...
After sex.
Weird and why?
Edit: After thinking about it, it's probably the balancing of natural pressures. I don't think "ear ringing" is a special gift. How else is your
body supposed to stabalize pressure levels but by pushing air out of open pathways, including your ear canal.

Displeasing for who? Never enough love in the world!
Loads of people get the ringing - I think there is no one cause, different for everyone, that's prob why its so difficult to explain - and why some
find it easier to live with.

The ringing is always in my left ear, & it seems always to worsen at night, say 2-3 hours before bedtime. Consequently, this is also the time when I
am on the PC, and the whole house is quiet. Sometimes it is downright unnerving! Other times the ringing seems to be "average." My hearing has
always been excellent & above average.
I understand that Vincent Van Gogh suffered from the problem. It is said, unfortunately, to have contributed to his death.

I always get this ringing sound in my ear and I thought I have some disease. It's a good thing I found ATS. I get this ringing sound only when I
focus on the it. This sound became clearer when I meditate or when there is total quietness.

tinitus, a constant ringing or buzzing in the ears is usually a problem with the ear falsely hearing a sound and sending false signals to the brain
but in reality there is no sound.
usually associated with deafness, hearing damage or hereditary.
another sign of hearing damage/loss is whats called "the cocktail party effect".
imagine being in a room with 30 or so other people all chattering away and having a great time while someone is talking to you. you hear 30 or so
voices but have to tune them out and listen to one just voice (the person speaking to you) and this seems like quite a challenge to do without
mis-interpreting some of what was said.
your hearing does not feel any pain, so what may be just good ol' loud music to one person could actually be damaging to someone else but they'd
never know. ringing or buzzing in the ears after loud events is a sign your hearing was damaged.
the hairs in your ear that detect sound is much like the blades of grass on your lawn, except the hairs NEVER grow back or repair themselves.
listening to loud sounds for extended durations is like taking a lawn mower and cutting your grass right down at dirt level.
you shear those hairs off at their base due to excess vibration and they never can heal or repair themselves. and now your hearing is diminished
because the hairs are so short they dont detect sound as well, and sometimes actually send false signals to the brain (tinitus)
any enviroment with sound will distract you from it during day to day activities, but usually quiet times (eg when trying to sleep) it will get louder
as there is no sound to distract you and you will find you really struggle to hear what people say during everyday life (wear ear muffs for a day and
you'll have a slight idea of what i mean )
for this reason (tinitus) i always go to bed and watch telly till i fall asleep, usually with cordless headphones on.
ive suffered high pitch tinitus my entire life, my mum suffers a buzzing sound like major power lines sometimes make in hot summers, have various deaf
relatives, yadda yadda queue tiny violins etc image source: http://www.ausrc.com/forum/images/smilies/addon1/violin.gif

I have also suffered all my life (so far as I can remember) I understand the damage and hearing loss associated with noise exposure. But when I have
seen specialist's they have always commented on my excellent hearing - they go so far as to say that they cannot test my hearing as I hear everything
in the standard test - 0's across the top of the chart, I have the hearing of a young child.
They say I'm 'Hyperaccoustic' which is just one of the hypersensitive conditions. About as useful as saying that ringing in your ears is just
tinnitus.

truth is they probably dont know what causes it in your case.
maybe having hyper sensetive hearing means your ears are trying to hear sounds that arent there (just a guess based on no info but sounds logical
)
tinitus is the end result. you need to find out *why* you have it and thats not always possible because there is no test to prove you actually hear
it.
much like an ambulance driver can tell you that you had a car smash, but cant tell you *why* you had the car smash. they just deal with the end
result.
maybe your tinfoil helmet is detecting high frequencies or something? (yes that last line is a joke)

Did you, maybe 1 to 3 weeks, before the ringing began get a dental bridge or filling? My ears have rung for years and I know it is a dental bridge
that is causing it but have not had the money to change it.
Metals in the mouth act like little batteries. Each metal has a different voltage potential and then when you add body and food acids, different
things happen. Ringing ears is one of them. You may or may not have a metallic taste in your mouth and this can change depending what you eat or
drink. This too can vary with the temperature of these foods and beverages.
After a while you pay less attention to the ear ringing but anytime that you notice it is annoying. It has to be unhealthy but what more can you
expect from the ADA when they promote toxic mercury and toxic fluoride as being safe.

This sound rally odd, but sometimes i can hear the electricity in household objects, my parents think im mad, when i say the static noise from the tv
is giving me a head ache, they think im really odd. Its nice to know other people have the same ideas, maybe there are waves being sent to our brians
from outer space and they are making our hearing go strange???

I've experienced ringing in my ears since I was a child. It's usually extremely high pitched and can trigger migraines at times. Every once in a
great while I can also hear electricity. (electrical pulses, perhaps?)
But the strangest type of ringing I hear literally sound like chimes or a doorbell. I have found myself answering the door when there's no one
around! My husband looks at me like I'm crazy. He'll swear up and down that the doorbell **did not** ring.

I'd have to say no there - reason being I have very clear memory's of being very young and trying to explain to parents and other people about this,
I was frustrated as my parents (especially my mother) would tell me not to talk about it, I have to say that I love my mother - but she isn't up
there with the thinkers of the world, if you catch my drift - she would often say things like don't say that to the doctor, they will take you
away!?! she worried unhealthily about very odd things and would refuse to understand others.
But any who - no dental work at that age (I'm thinking 4 or 5 here), but I can defiantly recall mentioning it. As I grew up I have hit my head a
number of times - one time in particular a log fell off a bridge and hit my across the back of the head and all but knocked me out (prob 10 at the
time). Had 2 or three fillings and about 3 years ago had to have my jaw plated together after breaking it.
I don't think any of those things really affected the ringing sensation, it's just been getting steadily more intense over the years (27 now). Only
thing I really have noticed is that it is worse when I'm dehydrated - waking up with a hangover is a nightmare.

Hi,
First, see a good doctor to be sure it is not tinnitus... if it is not, do you live near any cell towers? it could be due to frequency modulation by
the "contollers".
be aware of the low-pitched left-ear ringing. according to Val Valerian of trufax.org this type of ringing is directly related to cell towers, HARP
and other related experiments in frequency modulation. even before i read the info at val's site, i already suspected this was true based on my own
observations.
i posted the trufax link about this over on sleeper's thread (that was largely ignored). but its is good info to know about, especially if you are
sensitive to magnetic frequencies. if you can't find the link, and U want it, U2U me and I'll dig it up for you.
Cheers,
Chutso

yea i know how it feels. it happens to me maybe twice a week and its a high pitched sound in my head that gets progressively louder. it lasts a couple
of minutes. i even turned off all the electronics around me once to see if that would help but it didnt so i dont know what causes it or whats going
on so i just kinda learned to deal with it.

Below is an excerpt from a link I have provided below for all interested in reading about remote neural monitoring related to the ear ringing
phenomena. There are many causes of ear ringing - from physical damage to chemical imbalances in the body, to frequency changes that are
self-induced (ie, meditation, energy work, altered states of consciousness, etc) and manipulation by certain technologies (the subject of this
document).
EXCERPT FROM LINK (BELOW):
The National Security Agency (NSA) Illegally And Unconstitutionally Harasses Law-Abiding Americans Everyday. How, you ask? Quite simply, actually.
It's done by EMF or ELF Radio Waves, and a technology known as "Remote Neural Monitoring". Haven't you ever wondered about that ringing in
your left ear? Well, here ar the reasons. And just why should the NSA do this, you ask? To silence any who who dare to speak out against them or
any other agency, or the Government or simply to think for themselves, and "outside the box", if you will... (source reference listed below. The
document is technical, but a worthwhile read for anyone who wants to be informed on this subject.)

I have the ringing and I am sick to death of it.
Sometimes it rings in unison with my humming hard drive.
I have posted on it a few times and won't get into it again, but a member recommended the book
Above Black
www.aboveblack.com...
A very good read. I paid ten dollars to download a copy on line. Very interesting read.

Is it, like, when you sit in a quiet room, you hear a high pitched ringing. but it's not in your ears? It feels like you're hearing it, but you
aren't really hearing it?
Then, at some points, for no reason at all, it will get loud and everything else will sound muffled?
I experience the same thing. I have no clue what it is and no doctor has been able to explain it.
THR
Exactly like this for me, barely noticeable during the day only if I concentrate on hearining it. Except at night when I concentrate on it its much
louder.
I go right to sleep usually if I lie on my stomach, if I lie on my back I teeter on the edge of sleep sometimes for hours. The ringing will get much
louder, and twice I was alarmed and wide awake because of it. One time it was acompanied by an alarm sound going off like a fire alarm or something
but none was going off in reality...
Here are some random thoughts as I have only noticed it in the past 6months or so...
About 1 year ago started playing guitar (mostly acoustic) so I have been trying hard to improve my tonal hearing abilities.
Also got interested in OBE thanks to the river goddess long thread so I experimented a bit with that. Got the BWG software or brain wave generator
which produces tones not unlike the ringing you may hear at lots of different pitches. Only tried using this like 2-3 times and it never produced a
concious obe for me.
Also with the past year we started using a 2.4ghz wifi network at home 24/7 which also interfered with our 2.4ghz wireless phones so we switched those
to 5.8ghz.
Could be any or none of those causes....
Misc. info the ballast at my work in the lights hum very loud and no one else seems to hear it really or be bothered by it. Its just like they tune it
out easier than I do, so I shut off the lights that hum when I get to work.
Also I do not hear the tv or crt making any strange noises so I cant hear those frequencies. I do however sometimes hear strange noises almost like a
dial up modem over our phone lines normally only at night.
Also I like to q-tip my ears frequently to get the water and any dirt or wax out immediatley after showering. I do this at least 2-3 times a week if
not more. (and shower daily )
Thats about all I can think of at the moment.
