I also don't see what supposed images of Lunar mining equipment has to do with Hubble being used as a spy satellite. Besides being similar, unrealistic pieces of fiction that is.

Thanks jra, that helps me decide where to expend my time on ATS. If you can't see the mining operation, then you can't see the space port south of Komonosov and if you can't see that then you are probably not buying into the "Bob Lazar worked on Extraterrestrial Flying Saucers at S-4."

Sooooo...if your not buying into all that there no sense in me prattling on about the second Hubble (whatever it is used for) and other similar, unrealistic pieces of fiction.

I haven't asked you but I would sincerely doubt that you think there is a thriving civilization on Venus.

Knapp's tour through Los Alamos with Lazar and taking video while they toured.

How does that happen without clearance?

Really.

Exactly. Lazar had above top secret clearance.

Is this video of the Los Alamos tour to be found on the web someplace?

John Lear Is good for second hand info, but has he ever provided anything concrete?? Im not trying to bash him, but his celebrity status seems to lend him a favorable opinion to claims of the extrodaniary! If Mr lear has any thing concrete to share about lazar he should do so! Enough of this "I dont know why his year book photots are erased" Second hand second hand! show me something!!

Well Masisoar, Los Alamos hasn't been the model for security acuteness, It's been a security disaster.

Knapp's aired the video taken by his cameraman during the tour whole or impart I don't know. If memory serves Lazar took them through on an off-day, a Sunday I think.

Surely, due to locked labs and need to know access, he may not have taken Knapp to the more highly secured areas there. But I think he did take them to the lab he had access to. Something might be on the web about, or you might email Knapp. Knapp explains how they got in..basically through a door where there wasn't any security.

You can tour a lot of a national lab with an escort (someone who's cleared to go where they take you) and any appropriate level of identification. Also, not all parts of the labs are classified. I don't know about the tour he went on, but he probably was only in the unclassified parts of the lab.

Bob took me to some really spooky areas at Los Alamos. One was down in a canyon. There are 2 huge iron doors I would say at least 15 to 20 feet high. There was a huge gate in front and on either side of the gate were gun emplacements and guards eyeballing us we passed by in a car. I asked Bob what was in there and he said he didn't know. It was directly under the McDonalds which was on top of the mesa.

Bob had a contract to repair alpha probes and every month or so we would drive to Los Alamos from Las Vegas, go to one of his friends house and repair the alpha probes on the kitchen table. There was usually about 300 of them. Bob would rewire them and I would put the foil on.

Later in the contract we would take the airline to ABQ (I would use my airline ID and get the jumpseat). Then we would rent a car and drive to Los Al. Usually the whole mission would take about 36 hours sometimes 24 depending on how much repair and what time of day we got there.

One day everything went right. We go the first airplane out of Vegas. Got the rent-a-car right away. Got to Los Al at 90 mph without getting ticket. Rebuilt 300 of the alpha probes by 5pm. Jumped in the car, roared back to ABQ.

On the way to ABQ we talked about celebrating our accomlishment of doing the alpha probes in less than 12 hours with dinner! We were going to celebrate by having dinner at Parmas an Italian restaurant near Bobs house.

Checked the car into the rental place, got the the van to the airport. Ran to the airplane, I briefly stopped to get my jumpseat pass and then ran downthe gateway onto the airplane and sat down but I didn't see Bob. The door closed and as we were pushing back the Captain came on the PA and announced, "Welcome aboard Southwest Flight 453 to Los Angeles."

I had boarded the wrong airplane! We laughed about that for years. I had to go to LAX then get another jump seat to Vegas. I didn't get into Vegas until midnight so there was no celebratory dinner.

To properly address your post jra I would need to know what your opinion is of the mining equipment found in Copernicus and the artifacts found on the far side in AS8-12-2209 and LO1-102 presented on the "John Lear's Moon Photo's" thread. In other words do you see any possilbity that there is a mining operation taking place in Copernicus or are those artifacts just tricks of light and shadow? This will give me an indication of whether or not you are 'stuck' in mainstream thought. Thanks.

Unless you accept that some highly inconclusive pictures are what I say they are I won't back up my other wildly speculative claim about Hubble to you.

Hi Gazrock,

As you may know Tom Mahood did a major study of Bob and probably debunked every point that you made above. In addition Edward Teller disclaimed any knowledge of Lazar in a video before Teller died.

Yes, I've read this before, but I'll certainly give it another looksee, as it's been ages....thanks for the link again!

If you watch the recent history channel UFO and aliens documentaries, Lazar makes a astonishing claim:

He say that 'nothing is wasted. No energy or power is not used by some other process in the ship. It's incredibly efficient, he says. All the systems were connected to each other.' (paraphrasing).

Now this claim is something that he would not have been able to know or see unless the craft was fully powered up, and he was able to do an experiment to show that power was being internally re-used. If no energy is wasted in the system it would be essentially a black box and totally closed to any analysis.

I'd have to watch again, but I believe he states this as a matter of being told the information, not first-hand proof that there is 100% efficiency here...

Lazar is remarkably consistent with his stories, but this comment is new.. He looks as though he's older in this video. I've seen it on History Channel about four or five times now. This is tantamount to 'the other guy blinked' in my opinion. He was not quite getting enough bang for the buck on his story so he added this 'incredible energy' codicil to the mix.

Unfortunately, I think that's the major problem with Bob. He's (imho) one of those guys who a) likes to build up his own self-importance, and b) feels the need to stretch the truth to bolter his sense of knowledge and authority. These are certainly valid reasons to not take him seriously. If this was all there was to the story, he'd be easy to dismiss out of hand. But it isn't. There's other witnesses, attesting to his level and ease of access, knowledge of tests, etc. and such that make at least part of the story compelling.

I'm not disputing your comments, mind you, just touching base on a topic that has been of interest for many years.

And I thank you. Oddly enough, a google on "Lazar" is what brought me here in the first place, many years ago, lol...

If you still have questions or doubts about your points after checking Tom's page, I'd be happy to go through them point-by-point with you. For instance there's never been shown that the ONI is a real department, as far as I could discover.

ONI is the real department. DNI is the one that is fictional (or at least doesn't officially exist). DNI is what was on his W-2 and badge (and you'll see DNI on a few other alien-related sources as well, oddly enough). Coincidence? Probably....but one never knows....

Oddly enough, unlike Mr. Mahood, I had no trouble locating Pacifica University in CA. However, to be honest, it doesn't offer any programs that would fit Lazar's claim of a degree in electronics, and I couldn't determine how long the college has been in existence. Still, thought it was kind of funny....

Hi John – just curious regarding this seeming contradiction:

A few posts back, you said – in the same post – that you had asked Bob Lazar for some information on an isotope you had asked him about, and then later, in a rather sarcastic manner, implied that Lazar was actually a complete and utter ignoramus:

He emailed me a few days ago with some information on helium 3 that I had asked him for.

…when Bob obviously knows nothing about anything.

Assuming this was tongue-in-cheek; can you explain this rather bizarre, but conspicuous animosity that both you and Bob Lazar have expressed toward each other?

Thanks – I enjoy your many viewpoints on the forum (though I wish Lazar himself would chime in (perhaps he has!)

Of course I was being sarcastic. CBS used Bob because he knew everything about Polonium 210 and even sold it to the public through unitednuclear.com. Some people like to protray Bob as a janitor who swiped technical journals from legitimate scientists and knows a little bit about physics.

The trading of insults and practical jokes has been going on ever since we met. When he was doing his community service for the pandering charge I was recovering from an operation on my foot. I pulled myself out of bed and got in my truck and went down the the McLeod Childrens Museum where he was teaching. I found his Corvette and crawled underneath it and tied a diet Pepsi can to his drive shaft, and drove home. He retaliated by coming over and throwing some emergency yellow dye from a life raft in my pool. My wife hit the ceiling and went over to his house with her .45 and threatened to shoot his Corvette if he didn't clean it up. Bob called me in a panic and said my wife was crazy and was going to shoot his Corvette and that I should stop her. I finally got everybody calmed down and nothing or anybody got shot. I drained the pool and refilled it not realizing the dye would just evaporate.

This is me and Bob and my wife Marilee on my 57th birthday in 1989.

Mr. Lear, Bob says after he went on KLAS-TV with his story of working at S-4 he was shot at while driving. This implies he thinks he was targeted. Does he still get threats from time to time? Or has that passed now that he is working with the Government again? I was told by one of his assistants at United Nuclear that he meets with high level military personnel and government personnel at his United Nuclear compound. Do you know if he has a security clearance and if so what is it? Has he told you that he struck a deal with "them" after he went public to not talk about S-4 any more and in exchange he would be able to work with "them" again?

Top three reasons that make me think Lazar is a fake:

1) His tax form only shows he worked for a total of 2 weeks out at S-4. How could he have done all that he says he did with working on the propulsion system of an alien space craft in just 2 weeks time?

2) The schools he says he went to have no record of him being there.

3) My uncle has a TS/SCI clearance and works for EG&G in Palmdale CA. As you know EG&G is the company Lazar says he got his job at S-4 through. I asked my uncle about Lazar (before he told me I could not talk to him anymore because he might lose his job) and he said he thought Lazar was a fraud. Perhaps he does not understand the facts, but he thinks Lazar would have been sent to jail for life a long time ago for disclosing what he disclosed.

Over all I belive Lazar to be genuine. One thing is for sure and that is he's very smart. I wish he could go into more detail about what he worked on out at S-4 though. That's another thing that his nay-sayers pin on him.
