UFO Tallahassee (Updated)

I only claim it because that's what I'm seeing as a person who's seen two semi-transparent UFOs. As for the video I don't see it going 'behind' anything, just fading out, much like the first UFO I saw faded out.

Okay, so I've sent some stills, the link to the Google video and a compressed file of the downloaded video to Stanton Friedman, Richard Hoagland, the C2C folks, and MUFON last week and they've all thus far failed to respond.
I'm sure they get a lot of emails, but it almost seems like a...well...I'll say it; a conspiracy against all that is true and good in the world that no one's responded yet.

You gotta be more persistent than that, angst18. First you gotta establish contact by sending them a mail stating that you've found what you think to be something of an intersting video, then when you get a reply you should probably ask if it's okay if you send 'em a video, what quality they want it in and how they want it, Then you send the video.

The key is to establish a sense of responsibility in the person on the other side of that e-mail. Make him or her feel he/she have to call attention to the video you're sending 'em.

Hi.When i was filming UFobject i was spending more time trying to get the best picture/footage i could get of the ufobject and can not recall seeing any distortion emanating from the underside of the UFO.

Venus is quite often mistaken for a ufo. but Venus can not disappear or shoot off in 1min of filming as for the focus if you have cam set to Auto Focus then it will be working away trying to get the best picture it can. on manul focus you do that. both looking for shape of object so if the object you are filming is round it will show that shape more, filming in optical zoom or in digatal zoom what i am saying is if it was a helicopter in distances and you still could not make it out with focus in optical zoom then you go on to digatal zoom it will show helicopter.

I bet Chad didn't have to be persistent. Some people have all the luck...

Is it the center coil plasma motor thats bright or is it the apex motor.
The bright crown is extra flaring light around the craft, got snap on
Polaroid lens, put it in front of camera lens for better pictures.
The red seems to be vibration Hydrogen atoms just like in astronomy
nebula pictures. How come you expert scientist or school kids never
pick up on that. Shame shame on Carl Sagan one billion stars and
no clue as to what a red light in the atmosphere is.
Are you not sure, in fear of reprisals or got some block.

The two dark spots (dark red) are the other apex motors for sure.

The center motor is the main propulsion, even when the apex motors
are 'shut off' they pick up currents and flare and cause random movement.
In fact do away with them cause you can't shut them off. The coils will
just energize from flowing currents.

One suggestion is to Bessel mode the apex drives toward the center to
perhaps change the vibrations.

I started a thread on this footage without realising it had an active thread. I have enjoyed reading this one and am happy to see that people feel this is something of importance.

What I do find suprising is that the whole thread seems to have stalled. I guess everyone got so carried away by the drone pics and Ghostravens story that the one nugget of UFO activity that seems genuine as been left out in the cold!

Was this ever picked up by the media? C2C etc. It certainly seems worthy of more attention, I feel its in the same league as the Chicago Airport sighting which is another prime example of how real UFO's struggle to compete with all the hoaxs that plague this subject.

Strange as it may seam, the threads that slowly stop being updated are the ones most likely to be about real UFOs, maybe because they survive the "attacks" of the sceptics and debunkers or because there aren't enough evidences to change the status of "unknown".

I just ran across this video and was delighted to find it. In the summer 1998 i was with a friend from the Philippines. We had been escorted by a man, his girl friend and their son to visit the great wall of China outside of Beijing.

The young boy was holding my hand as we walked on top of the wall with many others, my head was looking down to the ground. I often walk this way, lost in thought. The young boy of five - seven years age started pulling on my hand for attention. I looked at him and he pointed to the sky.

Then i saw what everyone else (at least twenty people) were looking at in the sky - it was a glowing orb, about one third of the distance as seen in this video. We all stood there puzzled and gazed at it at least ten minutes. It never moved but we all new from the overcast sky and noon-day time that it was not a sun-dog or any other type of reflection. It had it's own luminosity. Since it didn't move and we didn't know much more of what it was we moved on with our schedule of the day.

My friend took a picture of it with his wide-angle handheld camera. He eventually sent it to me and i lost it due to hard drive failure - but i didn't really care. It didn't capture the effect of what we had experienced. I have a better memory of it than the photograph. However, this tape is EXACTLY the same thing that we saw.

I can only express my deep gratitude to the person whoever made this video. I KNOW that what you taped is real and not a hoax.

I just saw this video for the first time today, pretty good one!

Without reading all of these pages, it doesn't seem anyone ever identified it?

Personally, I don't think this one will ever be explained unless we can convince the pilot of this particular craft to join us here, maybe give us a tour of his fancy flying machine and tell us what the heck he was doing buzzing around Tallahassee that day. (My guess is he probably wanted to spend the long weekend with relatives in the area). But usually if a UFO is identified, it's identified as something we've all seen before, but for some reason did not recognize this time, perhaps because of lighting effects or distance, etc etc. But the Tally UFO looks like nothing I've ever seen before. None of the usual suspects for misidentification fit this one at all (imo). And it doesn't look like CGI or any other kind of fake either. I think it would've looked a lot better if it was! But the inability to keep the camera focused lends credence to this one. It should be impossible to focus on an object that is very far away and in motion. But when the camera does focus enough to give us a view of the object, I think most of us realize immediately what it is not: it's not a plane, it's not a helicopter, it's not the hubcap off a '67 VW Beetle - in fact the list of what it's not is virtually endless. The list of what it could be is very small. For me, it could be one of two things: 1) some kind of top-secret military aircraft (low probability), or 2) aircraft of extraterrestrial origin (BINGO!). However since I can't actually prove either one (and it's doubtful either of those two parties are going to come forward and say "ok it was us", then we'll have to settle for calling it unidentified. Kinda makes me wonder though, now when I look at the stars. How many more of those things are hiding among them? Watch the skies! (And your wallet!)

Hmm, they always seem to be more amazing before of just after the camera shuts off. funny how these things know when a camera is on them, huh?

Curious as to the focus issues the camera had. Can someone please tell me (too lazy to read the entire thread of people claiming "wow, this is it!" to find the answer) what camera was used, what tripod was used and whether the camera was in manual and automatic mode (assuming it is a medium price DV camera)

Guys, I hate to say this, but this video is worthless. Attack me all you want, but this video is nothing spectacular. As far as the folks claiming this is in no way fake, please understand how things work before you open your mouth and prove your own ignorance.

I am of the position that this video is wrong for two reasons:

It is fake, made by someone who reads boards like this and know what people are looking for in a "real" ufo video....and its not hard to get kids into the act....they were probably really serious.

It is a misidentification of something or a camera glitch that makes the image appear to do things that it is not in fact doing.

Still, very curious about the camera focus issues, does not seem consistent with something that I would expect (hint, hint....)

The only thing I think I remember (I may wrong) is that at the end (or near the end) he was lying on his back pointing the camera up.

I love this one because it fits with my 'critter' theory... the erratic flight, the change in shape, the 'translucence' the 'glow' moving around inside... the appearance of a second one...

I know many will say this idea is nuts.. but it ties in with the NASA UFO's filmed in infrared and fits a whole lot of other observations...

I think if more attention was focused on those that 'might' be plasma lifeforms' it would clear up many UFO mysteries...

In effect they are ET but NOT Aliens as their natural environment is in space and within our atmosphere and near space thus making them ET... but they are local to our neck of the woods... I suspect our planetary magnetic shield is part of the reason they are here

IF these things are energy creatures, then the shape shifting is easily accounted for... like a giant amoeba

And as energy creatures the erratic high speed maneuvers shouldn't effect them, any more than a lighting bolt would feel the inertia as it zips around at near light speed...

It certainly makes more sense than hundreds of drunken Aliens flitting about all over the place

The change in shape and "glow" may be a result of the camera trying to focus on the object.

If you have a video camera you can try it for yourself, a small, far away object is difficult for the auto-focus to work with, so it gets in and out of focus constantly.

If that was the case, the change in shape would be a result of the position of the object relative to the centre of the lens.
