DESCRIPTION
A small bar of radium is missing from a former uranium enrichment plant in southern Ohio, the U.S. Department of Energy reported Tuesday. The radioactive ingot, about the size of a medical gel capsule and stored in a glass vial, is not a health or security threat, said Laura Schachter, an agency spokeswoman.

If it was stolen what could be done with such a small peace?

and if it was lost How do you loose something like this?

Maybe someone plans on using it in their sinister plot to scare a lot of people with a really big smoke detector! Or maybe someone has prostate cancer and can't afford the treatment so they stole it to... uhm... 'treat' themselves.

Kidding aside, I can't say radium is anything to worry about... Nuclear Event 15/03/2007 - 05:35:12 (Military Time, UTC)... a little overboard don't you think?
