Army Surgeon General Retires in Wake of Walter Reed Scandal

Heads are rolling over this fiasco, and rightly so. I hope the new hires in their respective positions actually institute tangible reforms and not cosmetic changes.

I still say responsibility for this fiasco reaches all the way to the top. Photo ops and press conferences with wounded soldiers aimed at rallying support for the WOT while just around the corner our wounded heros are being kept in moldy, run down ruins of rooms is simply inexcusable. It is also damning evidence and a sad commentary on the skewed priorities of this administration.
