A staggering 25% of some 103,788 returning US Soldiers have a mental health diagnosis. Age and combat exposure duration seem to be the biggest risk factors. The biggest diagnosis was post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD. The finding were taken from VA records from 2001 to 2005



NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - High rates of mental health disorders are being diagnosed among US military personnel soon after being released from duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, according to investigators in San Francisco.
