Last night I saw a commercial for some company. The company was encouraging people to sell them their gold jewelry. I thought this was interesting considering the status of the dollar.

Not the jewelry, Im buying gold coins.
I have been since I discoverd 9/11 was an inside job, around 2002.
If I remember correctly it was about 410$ an ounce when I started, now its well over 600$.

I DONT buy paper that says I have gold, I buy the real metal...GOLD.
Gold will always be worth something, paper will be worthless at some point.

I read a book called "Greed" by Chris Ryan.

Basicaly what happens is, the CIA and MI6 and ceasing the cash in certain bank accounts which are connected to the al-Qaeda.
The al-Qaeda realise this and start to buy gold and diamons, the reason beeing when they need cash they can fence the gold etc for the ammount of cash they need.

Probibly nothing at all to do with the advert you've seen, but still, makes you think

What I wonder, is under what conditions would the US bring back the law making it illegal to own gold?

I believe they did this before once during the 30's.

jewelry & dental gold and other 'junk' gold is more Gold in color than Gold as an element/precious metal.

the lure of quick cash beguiles the unwary,
who will give up valuable personal info, that has more value to the 'buyer'

than any 'profit' You may gain from the sale of junk gold to the proprietor/store front owner [aka; Land-Shark]

besides, all that shiny, glittery or large stuff sitting around the pawn-shop
is positioned there to attract your attention...to buy it! with some of that
$$ from 'nowhere' that's tax free spending money!

If the advertiser is a mailing house, they are under no obligation to be legitimate as they're most likely a quick-turnover/ fly-by-night operation

...if one were to connect the dots from such a innocuious exchange,
some suspicions may come up as to.....
? how come i'm suddenly getting stuff stolen while i;m at work?
?How did my parked car get a flat tire?
?Did I lose this-&-that...or was that stolen too?

remember the adages 'Bad things come in threes'
'Easy come Easy Go' among other warnings...'swim at your own risk!'
