thanks SO, I realized my mistake, I was trying to access the profiles from my friends link and it was giving me a blank profile page with only the name and either friend or foe button.

Now I am using the profile link and everything is fine.

I told you I am a slow learner.

Everything is fine now.

You were the first to approach the single-page limit of 50 comments. After 50, you should start seening a menu for pages 1, 2, 3, etc.

Consider me a little bit lazy and a little bit computer illiterate, but I cannot input any info on the left side of my profile, even after clicking "edit my info." Help from anybody would be greatly appreciated.

After you click "Edit my profile" the center section of the page where the comments used to be should be replaced by textareas to update your info.

djohnsto77, thank you. I had vaguely seen your suggestion, but I did not operate on it. However, to me, everything in the left column can be filled in except birthday. How do you fill in birthday?

You update your birthday in the member center.

I just thought of something weird.
Seeing as this is the place for weird thoughts, let me lay it on you.

What if..after a couple of weeks of this new Social networking thing.
We were to extract the data for each user..the user being a data point.

And plotted it in 3D somehow..

Each member represented as a dot. Plotting lines to all other "dots" that are listed in the friends and foes for that member.
My guess is that you would end up with something that resembled a map of the neural network that we call the human BRAIN...

Each member a neuron, each line to a friend or foe, a "dendrite".

tell me, is that weird?
