I think you missed the point. If all a member can do is fight, they'll be banned. But intelligent disagreement is very different.

These items are extras for members and none if it effects posting in threads. You can make hundreds of posts and never bother with your profile.



Your favorites or subscribed threads are not being shown.

The people with whom I have intelligent debates I usually still consider friends rather than foes. My peeps I fight with during the day but would like to go out and have drinks with later are all still friends to me.

I know, it's tough to figure out. Take you for instance, dj. You wanna be my friend or worthy foe? Your choice, lol, we've had some good exchanges either way...

Only problem for me so far is it seems the system's still not sending all the u2u's when people add you... Working ok here otherwise.

I hope the bugs are to be fix soon because this is getting very popular now and I have not gotten all my friends yet and I can not see the littler profile box anymore.

Sorry if I am missing some of you good people I will get to all of you as soon I get the profile box on your names again.

Bugs fixed.

You get to the new profiles now by clicking on their username in the mini-profile, or in the "User Profile" link below each post... or... on their member name in the member search... or... no, that's it for now.

I can find my profile but when I click on "edit my profile", I cannot create a friend list, which is my main goal for now. Help from anybody would be greatly appreciated.

To add people to your friends list, you go to their profile, and click the
large green 'friend' button.

Don't worry, I was confused with that at first to.

...and you can get to a persons profile by clicking on their name in any of their posts on ATS, BTS or AP.

I have to say I was a bit skeptical when I got the mass u2u thingy about the social networking.

At first blush it seemed kind of silly and useless, but I have to admit I've been having a lot of fun with it.

Aside from tweaking my profile I've been going around and reading everybody elses and all their likes and dislikes, it's actually a nice little bit of insight into my fellow TFH wearers.

Nice job SO and everybody else.

In my opinion it's turned out to be a nice little fun bell and whistle to play with and actually not useless at all.

Will the perks ever end?!

Would it be possible to have a u2u generated when a new comment is added to my profile? I've had a few that I missed until this morning from some friends

I'm like a little kid under a Christmas tree everytime I notice I have a new u2u. It's terrible actually. Before Dark Matter, when the amount of new u2u's was displayed, I think the health of my heart was in danger. Anything above 4 new u2u's at once was more than enough for me to skip a beat.

...Don't judge me!

But yeah Ras, I would not object to that. If it is not implemented, I would hardly lose any sleep, but if SO decided to go with it, all the merrier.

I really have enjoyed this new addition to the community thus far.

Can not begin to say enough good things about this place.
