if there is a twin born and one of them dies at birth and the other will grow up normally.
Now lets say we go back in time and make the baby that died the first time live and the baby that lived die.

my question is will the seccond baby grow up exactly the way the first one did or will there be a difference

will this person have the same name. girlfriend. etc. ??

Thanx

Apart from the sheer paradox that would create, meaning going back
and killing yourself, therefore you could'nt have done it since you never
grew up, and basically an endless loop like that.

Anyways, no, they would grow up completely different lives, apart from
the fact that they are different people, there are many different variables
to account for, especially from the different personality, which causes
different decisions and a different life basically.

Yeah, they would most likely grow up to have different lives.

A French author, René Barjavel, was one of the original people to coin the whole grandfather paradox. If you care to read more about him, here are two links about him:

en.wikipedia.org... [English]

fr.wikipedia.org... [French]

I have read two of his books... both in their original language.

La nuit de temps and Ravage. Both were extraordinary books. He's definitely an amazing writer. Anyone with about 3-4 years of French could read his books. I've been speaking French for about 8 years now and his books are an easy read.

I believe "la nuit de temps" is translated as "The Ice People" in English if anyone is interested in checking the book out. I'm sure it's available at your local library or here's another link for his books on half.com
