UFO? Shape shifting worm like tube with strange light...

Does he have a camera phone? Or does a neighbour?

If this can be corroborated it will help with the analysis surely.

As many have sudgested, I too feel it's a string of baloons. Not just because this is a quick and rational reasoning for what is being seen but also because of personal expierence. I live in an area with many, MANY used car lots and all of which employ the 'baloon string' eye grabber riddled through out. I have actually seen these in the sky and look as well as act just like what the video has shown, form and function. Twisting and stretching in the same rainbow form, rising and dropping in altitute as the air inside them expands and contracts with the changing altitude, ect..

This ofcourse does not offer proof that there baloons but I'd bet on it. Good job capturing it and bringing it here to be analyzed however!

cheers dude, even watching it through for the fourth time, i still cant get my head round the magnitude of what im seeing. Someone further up said something about these sightings being a more recent occurance. I belive that looking back through time all manner of creatures and story's share a resemblence to this video. Plus it's only been in more recent history that we have had such a powerfull tool of knowledge with the internet. there have been many reports of serpents in the skies and dragons alike, however i feel that as a recent trend these sightings are more frequent. Ill look forward to reading everyones theories on what this is, and i really really hope that someone else out there has a recording of this amazing occurance. peace out everyone, i'm tired, but ill be back in the morning. At first I thought perhaps it's either balloons/enflatable attached to a very long fishing string, controlled by someone on an apartment on the nearby building.

But certainly interesting how it seems to follow it's "head" (the light) when it moves..definately more realistic than if it just floated any which way. It's characteristics in movement remind me of one of my snakes.

For now I'll give it the benefit of the doubt, and say in my oppinion it's done too lifelike for it to be anything other than a paranormal phenomenon (very strange creature).

I think you nailed it the first time. I think it is a chute or chutes I have seen them and they do use flares on their feet that would explain the light at the end.

Very Interesting indeed. To me it looks like it might be some kind of Kite that is conducting electricity at one end, they way it curls in a U shape suggests electric current flowing through it.

Definately not a chute... This thing is cylindrical in shape. You can see that in the video, as you see both sides of the object in question, as it turns around.
At not one point in the movie do you see it "flatten out" on different angles, like a parachute would.

Like an electric eel?

Sorry I had missed the full video and commented before I should have. I agree it is not a chute after watching the full video around 230 to 250 somewhere in there I can clearly see what appears to be strobe lights but honestly I am not sure. All I can say is when the trail starts within that time frame the lights are on the RH side or leading edge if you will.

Reminds me of a news broadcast I saw about "Rod" aliens who live in the atmosphere. Like this pic of a basejumper.
