Whats the deal with the very early Daylight Savings Time

i also think it must be more globally accepted b/c you cant just mess with the time zones around the world.

It is about conserving energy. I don't typically agree with 90% of what the governments decide but I think they actually put some thought into this one and it was the easiest solution.

It amazes me that even with this small change people still gripe and moan. The idea is that our country (US) would save approx 3 billion dollars a year in energy conservation.

While there is no light police to monitor whether or not you are coming home during daylight hours and flipping on your lights, it all comes down to personal responsibility which the gov at this point in time anyway cannot control.
