The NEW Neocon boytoy?

Topic started on 9-3-2007 @ 09:53 PM by 11Bravo

Interesting read here.
It appears the GOP couldnt last long without their gannon

For those of you that dont know the story, Mr. Gannon was a male prostitute and owner of gay websites that somehow found his way into the whitehouse press corp.

Perhaps he partied with all the polliticians at Bohemian Grove.
Heard many rumors that the powerful people liked their men.

It seems this new boytoy was embraced by the likes of Sean (commie)Hannity and Ann (imadude) Coulter.

And if you wanna know how deep it goes check out this discovery channel documentary from the 80s. It was pulled before airing but a copy has turned up on the internet.

What's the point of this?

Are you trying to slam gays? Gay Republicans? Trying to say all Republicans are Gay?

It''s so confusing to me why you even care...there are gays in both parties, even in Congress.

Just because Barney Frank is gay, doesn't mean all Democrats want to have sex with him. Likewise, this guy and David Dreier are gay, but that doesn't mean all Republicans want to have sex with them either.

This whole thing is pointless and offensive.

I don't think it's so much about homosexuality but gay prostitution in the Whitehouse. A Whitehouse that gave press credentials to a gay prostitute and gave him unfettered access to the Whitehouse. Why? A Whitehouse that had family values as one of the tenants of their campaign. A Whitehouse that criticized the gay lifestyle, pandering to the evangelicals.

Maybe not so much homosexuality as hypocrisy.

I still wonder about Jeff Gannon personally and how he got to where he was so fast with this "news organization" that was supposivley pretty new. I heard rumors that Gannon was connected to Scott McClelan and that he (Scott) hung out at gay bars when he was in Texas. Nothing would surprise me with this bunch. Apparently according to the signing records from the Secret Service he was there at the White House when there weren't any press happenings and he also was there election night in 2004. I wish that John Conyers and Louise Slaughter (I believe it was her) would open their case back up about him and figure out what's going on there. I feel bad for being so questionable but a part of me wonders if this Shancez fellow is really a military man at all or is one as much as Jeff Gannon was one. Remember Gannon was getting on the rightwing media for people supposivley harassing him while he and his family go to church? So I wonder about that personally. I read the article from infowars and I'm glad to see that Cynthia McKinney was on the case. She was a personal hero of mine and I'm really sad she's gone now because I think if she was there now she'd be raising a lot of hell. I miss her there.

Very interesting that the Moonie Washington Times supposivley broke the story. I wonder if they weren't getting what they wanted from Reagan and Bush and they found out about the deal and they blackmailed Reagan and Bush and they gave in to the Moonies and now the Moonies own the Bush family.

The whole thing is not pointless nor offensive. The republican party as a whole are a bunch of hypocrites. It's like a guy at the magazine "The Nation" was at the CPAC event recently and asked Ann Coulter about marriage (gay marriage specifically) and he pretty much in so many words called her a hypocrite on her personal life and she got all defensive and the Nation guy pointed out it's a "do as I say and not as I do" type of thing with them. They have the right to go around and judge and get involved in other people's personal lives but their own. Everyone in the Bush administration are all a bunch of hypocrites and it's just so interesting of how the most anti-gay people out there publically sometimes turn out to be gay themselves and hiding it instead of just being who they are and accepting that all people deserve to be treated as equals.

What I really need to understand is why the GOP keeps draging their personal lives into politics, especially considering the "family moral values" and other such "Christian" platforms of the party.

I'm sure Bush makes a great sloppy party bottom, but when his gay prostitutes start showing up in public it leaves him with egg on his face...

ya hear me?

I can't chalk this one up to stupidity, that's too easy. I'm going with blackmail. Every now and then one of the GOPs "fabulous" friends isn't content with the money and wants a little spotlight time. Or maybe these guys get sick of the party line and want that spotlight time to covertly "expose" their Republican friends.

Still though, this is all a damn side show and doesn't really matter. Most Dems don't really care who does what with whom, and the Republicans will pretend it doesn't exist. I bet Fox news hasn't said a peep, right? And if Fox news hasn't said anything then the conservative Christian base will never find out anyway. So like I said, it doesn't matter.

I wonder if the 700 Club has said anything?

Discussion. Discussion and denying ignorance.

Are you trying to slam gays?
Nope, where did you get that idea?

Trying to say all Republicans are Gay?

Nope.
Are all Republicans 'Neocons'?

It''s so confusing to me why you even care...there are gays in both parties, even in Congress.
I agree, there are gays everywhere.
The issue here isnt the prevelance of gays in the government, it is the fact that Mr. Gannon was fast-tracked into the white house press corp with little if any journalistic ability. He was exposed because of his 'softball' questioning, no pun intended.
It later was revealed that Mr. Gannon had either failed to sign in or sign out on multiple occasions.
IN the post-911 world that the Neocons like to remind us we live in, it should alarm you to no end that there is an admitted male escort/gay pornstar running around unchecked in the whitehouse.

If nothing else it opens the administration up to the possibility of blackmail.
What do you think the public would do ifthis happened to the commander in chief?

This whole thing is pointless and offensive.

Im sorry you feel that way, but thank you for your questions none the less.

How much more can right-wing America get away with?

Not to mention that this story has gotten very little media coverage. If it got more coverage, this would break the back of the right-wing.
