Why do the threads that deserve the least attention get the most attention?

A theory:

if i typd lyk dis n only sed rly stpid stuf lyk

"omgg ats sux azzzz u shud al di alrdy lololozlzzzzz"

... would I have more points because of the amount of people responding to my threads?
