Just Joined ATS
I don't know exactly what you are counting. First time I've stopped by
this section. I wanted to ask if Seti has tried pointing at our oceans for communications? Since all discriptions of "aliens" are aquatic or
amphibious.
We have obvious range limitations besides while in flight these craft may not be able to pick up on our frequencies. I'm still looking for the spell
check but I have had a lot of luck at finding things that were hidden.

I used it a while back, until I just forgot about it. Now that I found an entire forum on this, I decided to pull SETI back from the dark corners of
my harddrive and run her again. I currently have no data units completed whatsoever, but the one I'm working on right now is about 15% done.

A couple of days ago I reinstalled Seti@home, after one year of inactivity.
I completed 2 units, and juist installed Boinc.
I run it on my ftp server 24/7

willing and able but...
I just went to the site and instructions said to open an account and wait for an email reply. Still haven't gotten it. Is it nessary to join? Or can
I just install the new BIONC version. Maybe someone familiar with the system can post more up to date instructions. Thanks.

I joined the team, It listed the units I had completed over the years, and then it didn't upgrade the count. I've completed MANY units since i
joined but for some reason it doesn't credit them to the ATS team.
I have no idea why.
Love and light,
wupy
this edit is because after i posted this I went to double check and all the units i've completed have been added on. Just ignore this whole post.
I'm going to go process some alien info now.....

Wow that's pretty impressive, we're still the 213th team, with 30 active members now.
I'm running BOINC on 2 computers now, one at home 24/7 and my laptop at work (9 - 10 hours a day).
I'm gonna add a second server at home, another PIII - 800MHz, completely dedicated to BOINC (running on Linux).

I was just letting ya'll know that I've joined and have already got over 100 WUs in the past three days.
Hal, if you hadn't got that email yet you might check your junk mail filter. It filtered mine out at first too.

hatchedcross, thats an excellent piece of info ...that sux that it sees it as solicitation/spam...maybe some of the ats members that have written
tutorials for the setup could include that little tidbit.

Well, I just became active.
I figured out my problem was I used the same e-mail address like four years ago, so I was supposed to re-activate. I never got a response from before,
but its all good. Numbers are crunching, but still don't see any graphics, so I will give it some time.
Thanks to minimi on your SETI@Home BOINC switch over (or new user!) Tutorial.
