Hi minimi/ Robert!!
Welcome to the ATS SETI@home team - your contribution is most welcome!!
As regards your analogy of catching up to the other teams - a little severe perhaps, but the sentiment is agreed with!! It'll be good to
achieve as high a place in the all teams listings before the "plug" is eventually pulled on SETI@home, that's for sure minimi!!
Look forward to you "rushing" up the ATS team board!

Hi minimi!!
Well done with the 195 WU's - way to go!!
The ATs SETI@home sig *has* been discussed, as you surmise (there are few areas left untouched here!! )
Please have alook at this thread which explains the background behind it - and
attempts to explain how to do it!!
Good luck - it normally takes 5 or 6 attempts but it is achievable, as you can see!! Let us know how you get on!!

Sorry bout the double post, and btw that was 195/281 users, not WUs lOl! Just switched to cmdline client though, scanning seems to be going much
faster on both my PCs, now only 6hours per WU. If only i could leave them on 24/7........(but my parents want to sleep without a loud fan whirring
humming noise!)
Lets get the ATS team up there with the top 100.

Hi minimi!!
I was trying to promote you up the ranks my friend!! Sorry - when I see 195, etc, I always think in terms of WU's, not places on the team
list!!
All ok on your parents not wanting the computer fan to whirr through the night - here, I *am* the parent and don't mind the noise!!

Hi gviewtwosix/ Mr D!!
Welcome to the ATS SETI@home team!! Your contribution is most welcome - as has been said before, "the more, the merrier"!!
I'm sure you will find the team (and the ATS BOINC team too of course!) to be very supportive and equally appreciative of our efforts - if you have
any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!!
Thanx again gviewtwosix!!

Am active on ATS as much as possible, depending on work and where I may be at during certain months, ie Norway, Poland, Czech, Iceland, and Hungry,
not to forget the SW Asia area. Would like to get involved with SETI@home but i barely have time for ATS lately.

Hi usafairmen!!
I'm sure we all know that feeling too!! ATS is so addictive, and time-consuming (but in the nicest possible way!! )
Well, if you *do* decide to run SETI@home or it's replacemnt - BOINC! - , you can be assured of a warm welcome - as you can expect from the whole of
ATS itself, of course!!
If you have any questions, please ask, either here or by U2U!!

...and we appreciate it! The team as a whole turns is around 200 work units a day so you can see how important contributions like your are. I hope
when the v1 SETI wraps up you will be joining us in working on BOINC.
Welcome and thanks, cja252!

Me too!
I've joined the ATS SETI@home team too! I've been contributing my CPU cycles to SETI for 4.5 years now (unfortunately, I've only been able to
complete about 30 WUs in that time ). Now I can contribute them to SETI and ATS (I've got a Linux box doing nothing but SETI now, so things
should go faster ).
