pentagon. i have seen this in many many threads.

U.S. military bases have raised their force protection levels from "Alpha" to "Bravo," a Pentagon official said.
Oddly enough, the military switched from THREATCON to FPCON shortly before 9/11.
FPCON Bravo means a "more predictable threat." IDs get checked, vehicles searched. It's worth taking note of, but don't panic until you hear
FPCON Charlie.

Is this status kept secret? Or is it something that they make known if you know where to look? Also, if it is kept secret, would you be able to know
when it changes?
Just wondering how we could monitor this.
p.s. Thanks for the info!

This has me a bit worried:
www.stevequayle.com...
By the way, Threatcon Bravo has been the norm here in Germany for awhile. Like I said before in a previous post I couldn't get into Wiesbaden Air
Base today because I didnt't have my passport. I had my Retired ID but it wasn't good enough, and they really didn't care I had made a 150
Kilometer trip for nothing. Something is really up, I don't know whats going on. Old friends that are still in the Military arent even giving me a
clue, and THATS scary!!!

There are only 3 levels. Alpha ( Very good ) , Bravo ( Not good ) and Charly ( you won't like this level ).
You missed one, UP...FPCON Delta...(you've already been screwed)

Nothing about this is secret, people. THREATCON was simply what it sounds like, a threat condition. It wasn't specific enough to apply to the
terrorist threat in the world today, so it was changed to FPCON, or "Force Protection Condition". There are checklists that are followed when the
FPCON changes to protect our people and assets. It isn't anything sinister or secret....

Thats correct, the threatcon is posted on the gateschacks when you come into the posts, at least here in Germany. The only thing that makes me
nervous is seeing a 19 or 20 yearold with a weapon that is almost as big as they are standing guard. You can see the nervousness in their eyes, I
havent seen this type of fear since Vietnam. Look people, I see alot of negative comments on this board in reference to what the military is doing,
give the troops a break! They are youngsters with one hell of a responsibility, no matter how screwed up our government is at the moment, all I can
ask is to support these brave troops who are doing their job to the best of their abilities. Lets show them that we love them by protesting and
getting these kids home! We can show no greater love than giving our freedom for those who protect ours! I am not saying we bow down to the
administration, no not at all! What I am saying is lets do what we have to do to get these kids home!!

I hope you dont get me wrong people, I just don't want these kids to suffer like I and many others have. Every time I hear about a KIA I beg and
hope it's someone who didn't serve with me. Because if they didn't survive I feel that I didn't do my job. No matter what you all think, I love
these kids, they are our future, we have to protect them.

i'm of the notion that all this concern,
can & will be fanned into panic & hysteria
(the red menace, the yellow menace,
iron curtains & bamboo curtains...mccarthyism, cults, drugs, raptures, homophobes, satanism...etc etc)
it appears the new 'Arab/Jihad/AQ menace'
has a limit to its 'creativity'....our intel has the
airliner-as-missle scheme as a sorta acme
point, foundation stone, for terrorists to
attain to, or build upon or reprise...
-->so, we're all looking at the skies....AS the
gatherers of intel, have determined that the
internet sites for flight scheduling etc, has been inundated by foreign, hostile groups, suspected terrorists, etc...
---->sheeze...FBI CIA NSA DHS,,,these alphabet security & intelligence agencies might be getting
the Ali Shuffle...& the...Rope-A-Dope done to them all at once !! ie: thinking
inside-the-box, again
wish ya'll a peaceful holiday.....
don't let the tail wag the dog...

It has nothing at all to do with fanning the flames, it has to do with trying to insure that we don't have another 9/11. Would you rather the
administration do nothing? It's a case of "Damned if you do - Damned if you don't". It's gotta stop somewhere. I for one, would rather see my
government doing something other than throwing a missle or two at an asprin factory in the Sudanese dessert...
No matter what is done, there are those who will twist it into something wrong....

WTF whats going on in LA
Los Angeles area in the past few days as part of a "massive investigative effort" -- with a real sense, the source said, of "trying to beat a
ticking clock."
I sure hope that ticking clock isn't a thermo nuclear weapon.

I don't see what everyone is so worried about.
We have the same people watching out for our safety that was in charge on 9-11-2001.
Oh, never mind what I just said.

Peacemonger My sentiments exactly!! Hell, half of them couldn't pour piss out of a boot even if the instructions were written on the heel!!! But
serouisly, I have said this so often, the higher you go in Civil Service the less contact you have with reality. You would be amazed! most of these
people are so into politics and inter office games that they have very little time to effectively do what they are paid for. Thats one of the reasons
I threw the towel in, I just couldn't deal with the ignorance any more. And we, the normal schmucks, are the ones that pay the price.

To myself, it doesnt seem part of any NWO or anything of such, just seems like the common sense thing to do if you ask me.
Anyways, thats off topic and I would rather stick to this.
This is an odd statement. I didn't think anyone was talking about Miami...although we know they're set for Marshall Law after the recent trade
summit down there. And I agree that in theory locking down and area makes sense...but I still think it will inevitably lead to NWO and the suspension
of all rights. Man...this sucks!

I was just poking around on the web and found this Navy link. There's a Rappahannock ship. Are we CERTAIN they were referring to the town? Here's
