Interesting article here about fossils of people found in coal seams....

"There was a time when Conrad regarded the integrity of the scientific establishment as beyond reproach. But after seven years of dealing with paleontologists and archaeologists, he said he has found them to be a devious and untrustworthy bunch whose actions in relation to him have been downright dishonest and deceitful."

Errr... Conrad is someone who can't tell a strange looking rock from a fossil. The Smithsonian is absolutely correct, here.

His "skull microphoto" (www.edconrad.com...)looks nothing like real bone, by the way. You couldn't walk and hold your head up if your skull was of material that dense. Human bone looks like sponge.

His skull/cranium (www.edconrad.com...) is far too thick to be a real skull and it shows no features like the growth sutures and plate joinings. The thickness of bone in your skull is 1/4 inch or less; the only animals with skulls as thick as the one he's holding up are massive creatures like the elephant.

His "lung" is only convincing if you don't know human anatomy (it's missing the lobes and other features); the "embryos" are simply iron nodules :www.edconrad.com...

The only person covering up stuff is Ed, who wants to cover up the truth and promote himself as a great researcher with great finds. He hasn't bothered to learn basic anatomy (so he could actually identify things.) Heck, you don't have to be a paleontologist or a scientist to see this -- any rock hound who does fossil hunting can tell you the same thing.

Have any of you read some of the stuff William Corliss has written eg "Ancient Man : A Handbook
of Puzzling Artifacts"?? There's some interesting stuff in these books!

I couldn't find any worthwhile links to Corliss directly just now, but came across this one:

www.s8int.com...

...which might help the debate??
