Its funny, but really, its meaningless. The average global temperature can increase, greatly, and there can still be 'winter' and 'storms'.

What the hell?!??!
Ok...from my pitiful knowledge, I learned that the polar ice-caps somehow 'reflected the sun's rays' to some degree. If the ice-caps
disintegrated, then the suns rays would be more concentrated upon the earth; thus heat up the oceans. Therefore: Global warming in the initial
stage.

I'm not that smart. I honestly don't know if this is just a normal evolution of the earth or we are destroying our home.
Maybe this is just setting the stage for a major volcanic eruption that will send up so much dust into the stratosphere that the suns rays will be
blocked for many years, or even for a few weeks ect. Its happened before with volcano's like the one in Yellowstone. Thats how the earth fixes
itself. That would be catastrophic for us since all vegetation would probably die off, killing who ate it, and killing people who at both.
I honestly don't know one way or another.
But it is funny that not one but two conferences on Global Warming would we canceled because of the cold.
Just like it would be funny it a conference on Global cooling, if it was canceled because of a heat wave
Or a conference on the lack of rain getting canceled because of a Terrencial downpour that caused flooding.
