Dean can't win the '04 election? Think again!
From day one of the race for the Democratic presidential nomination, the pundits have been saying former Vermont Governor Howard Dean has no shot at
winning the Democratic nomination. From day one, I have been saying the pundits are wrong. They are so out of touch with the American people it's
unbelievable. But then again, we must consider the source. The pundits are paid establishment shills whose only job is to steer the American people in
the direction in which the puppet masters wish: The establishment anointed Democrat or the establishment anointed Republican. Who are they? President
Bush, of course, and Sen. John Kerry. Both men are Skull and Bones, for the record. This should tell you all you need to know.
An amazing thing has happened. Through the use of the internet and the participation of a multitude of volunteers young and old, from across the
political spectrum, Dean's populist message and grassroots campaign has spread like wildfire throughout the United States. He has raised so much
money in the process from small, individual donors - not big corporate interests - that he was able to decline the government's offer for matching
funds in the general election. Talk about throwing the other guys off! They were incensed that Dean would do such a thing - putting their campaigns at
a great spending disadvantage. Despite what you're told, they cannot compete. As of today, it has been reported that Kerry is loaning his campaign
money out of his own pocket and Gephardt is pleading with his campaign volunteers in some states to forego a months salary - for his losing cause.
Those much-touted front-runners and party standards ran out of steam before they ever got started.
Conventional wisdom said that Kerry would be in the lead by this time. Conventional wisdom is worthless. Why listen to the tripe spewed forth from the
mainstream media? Listen to the true heartbeat of America. That true heartbeat pounds for a real alternative to the establishment-entrenched choices.
An alternative to those anointed frauds that parade as candidates out to represent you. Make no mistake. Kerry, Gephardt, Lieberman, Clark and Edwards
aren't running to serve the American people - but to serve themselves and the puppet masters' shadow agenda. They are political prostitutes, bought
and paid for. Pure and simple. The others in the field, Kucinich, Mosely-Braun and Sharpton are well-meaning, amusing and at times much needed voices;
however, they do not stand a chance in this race, let alone against the sitting president.
The establishment from the left and the right have joined in a universal attack on Dean. This should tell you all you need to know. They smell blood
in the water. They can see the writing on the wall. The American people are slowly rousing from their slumber and are drawn to Dean's fire,
forthrightness and candor. He's the only viable candidate speaking with the American people, not down to them. They see him for what he is - the true
outsider - carrying the momentum and financial backing to bring the Bush administration down. As of today a Newsweek poll finds that 46% of Americans
like Bush for re-election and the as-yet-unnamed Democratic candidate also has 46% support. That is not good news for the Bush camp. You might not be
seeing Karl Rove's sweat, but be assured, he is sweating. Unless, of course, those die-bold voting machines are thoroughly rigged; which is a
distinct possibility. In a fair election, Dean would beat Bush, without a doubt.
The right, left and the media have been busy as bees portraying Dean as a weak-kneed liberal from a miniscule state - that has no relevance. That
characterization is patently absurd. Dean's record as governor blows Bush's out of the water. Do the research if you disagree. You'll find Dean to
be quite moderate in many ways, not to mention conservative on some issues Republicans cherish, such as the 2nd amendment (the right to keep and bear
arms) and fiscal conservatism. We need a president now more than ever who will work to balance the budget and cut spending. The growth of government
and spending under this administration is obscene. We may as well label Bush the actual big-government liberal. Economics should be the number one
issue driving the upcoming election. The United States is a breath away from economic collapse.
If Bush or the the establishment-anointed Democratic nominee is elected, and one more major terrorist attack occurs, we will, without missing a beat
move to a complete totalitarian dictatorship. Some argue, after the passage of the U.S.A. Patriot Act, we're already there and just don't recognize
it. If Dean is elected, he will move us back, away from that dangerous precipice and bring sanity and dialogue back to our nation's capitol. He has
also stated he will reach out to our allies across the globe and do his utmost to heal the divisions the Bush administration has inflicted. Contrary
to what his detractors say, he has just as much experience in foreign policy as Bush did when he took office, if not more. He got high marks in
college, earning a degree in political science with an emphasis on foreign policy. America is crying out for a real leader with vision, not a
strutting, near-illiterate cowboy-wanna-be.
Retired General Wesley Clark was on ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulis this morning. He claimed that he is the only man qualified to be the
Commander-In-Chief. The only thing 30-plus years in uniform qualifies him for is to assume a dictatorship. Then there are those stinging remarks made
by Clark's former boss, retired Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Hugh Shelton regarding Clark's early dismissal from his Nato command. It had
to with "integrity and character issues," Shelton said. That should stop anyone in their tracks who might be thinking of voting for the Clinton wolf
in sheep's clothes.
Dean is commanding a double-digit lead now over his nearest rivals. This speaks volumes for the support he's getting across the board. (Think:
Republicans for Dean) This reality flies in the face of the babble that passes for critique by those ridiculously pompous shills like George Will.
Nothing they've said thus far has turned out to be close to what is actually happening on the ground across this great land. Stop listening to these
hacks, do your own research and make your own choice! Whatever your party affiliation, Democrat, Republican, Independent, Green, take a good, long
look at Dean's gubernatorial record and do not buy into the lies and misrepresentations being leveled at him from his opponents. Forget about
thinking outside the box; it's time to get out of the box!
The future of our nation depends on it!
