This is comming out of the mouth from a man who´s part of a religious institution, who has been supressing, burning, torturing and done other "benevolent" acts in the name of Christ.Im not suprised. It´s easy to put the Satan stamp on "others" who do not abide to their doctrines and dogmas.
If it where for them we would still belive that the earth is flat.

I'm wondering what exactly someone would have to do to prove they are the anti-christ. I bet if someone said that here, they would be debunked and proven a hoax pretty quick.

Maybe if the anti-christ was a she and ran for office of president she would be taken seriously though. Then I might wonder want diabolical plans she had. Perhaps set up a health care plan that raises taxes on everyone already paying to pay for all those not wanting to work or pay or entering the country illegally. Then we become a socialist country and we'll pay benefits for all those not bothering to even enter the country legally. No thanks. Besides someone truly sneaky wouldn't talk about things like that. They would talk about all the benefits for everyone and minimize any talk about tax increases or make it sound good not bad. Of course to do that you can pick any politician. I guess if you argued that, all politicians seem to be anti-christs. They all claim to want to help us but I doubt they would be running for office if they didn't want power and/or money.

No, the white hores is clearly the antichrist emulating Christ

and sun, if you're saying that america is the nation spoken of in jeremiah...
wouldn't it be a great nation from the WEST?
it's not really that much of a northern nation, it's too expansive to classify as such

You might read the prophecies again. It says a assembly of nations from the North country. Think back to Gulf War 1
America is the great nation spoken of in Jeremiah. It also says that a people will come out of the north(This is not America). This will occur on the Day of the Lord and is the final part of the judgement.

Right now we are right here in the prophecy attempting to heal Babylon, which as you can see will fail.

8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed. 9 We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reacheth unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.

if "the antichrist" was emulating "jesus" then wouldn't he be riding a white donkey/mule?

um, "the north country" is far too vague for anyone to interpret

and why do you say AMERICA is the great nation? why isn't it... hmm, great britain? or canada? or china? or russia?

um, there is no babylon
iraq is not babylon
it is far too expansive to fit as stemming from babylon and it's borders were drawn out by european nations thus cutting off all ties it would have to ancient babylon

clearly referring to how the people of the time viewed bablyon as a place of great sin, not a literal healing

Nope, He will be riding the white horse of Revelation 19

Rev 19:11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter."

in my opinion, and that of more than a few secular scholars, the revelation was a thinly veiled political commentary by an exiled revoloutionary and religious zealot. the same symbolism that is interpreted as prophecy by the faithful can also be seen as political commentary disguised by indus, arabian and mediterrainian mythic imagery. i've read papers that compare this colorful apocalypse to renaissance farces written with the sole intent to embarrass the ruling elite without a single overt reference to those that ultimately became the butt of the joke.

taken in this context the term antichrist becomes somewhat of a buzzword, which in my opinion could easily be transposed with modern media catchphrases like terrorist, fascist or (to some
at least) neocon.

conversely, if taken as divine portents, why would the antichrist, described in singular, not in fact carry as much symbolic weight as the image of the whore of babylon, who many have come to believe symbolize the united states and its supposed moral decline? the antichrist could in fact be a unified methodology, a cultural norm that overshadows the basic tenets of christianity under a banner of peace and utopian ideals.

in either sense, the cardinal's claim that the antichrist walks among us holds strongly as either a secular philosophic argument or theocratic pronouncement.

regardless the statement he made seemed to me not so much a proclamation but a call to arms meant to rally a worldwide community to protect their ideals and bolster their faith. and arguing the realities and the transparencies of the specifics defeats the purpose.

hope that makes sense....

Let me help you..........don't try and interpret it, just read what it says, no interpretation is necessary. ....................See how easy it is.

Well, let's see. Who is the most powerful nation on earth. Maybe you could take a survey at the grocery store or a fourth grade class and see what answer comes up.

Side note.....this is why I don't knock myself out with links to posters that are not interested in the truth. When you can't see the obvious theres not much I can do.

The prophecy is against Babylon and the land of the Chaldeans. I believe if you want to know the truth you could find that Iraq is the land of the Chaldeans or Babylonians.

I believe what I believe because I believe the truth. If you want to deny the facts..........as I always say.....it's your choice. It always comes down to denying the truth.

The only thing that is clear is your denial of the facts. Babylon is fallen and destroyed............try to heal her................she could not be healed. Again...........no interpretation is necessay...........JUST READ WHAT IT SAYS.

Okay I know the sentiment around here that the Antichrist is more of a collective spiritual force than a manifestation in the human form; or is simply seen as the decline of Christianity in general with the end of the age of Pisces, but I took what the Cardinal and the russian futurist said on board and came up with the following. Please direct all flames to /dev/null.

Just a stab in the dark - sorry Prince if you're a really nice guy - I just noticed your background reflected some of the elements mentioned by the Cardinal.

H.R.H PRINCE EL HASSAN BIN TALAL of JORDAN
static.teriin.org...

-Honorary Doctorate of Theology from the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the Eberhard-Karls-University in Tübingen, Germany

Don't take this on face value - do some digging and make up your own mind

The only other guy I suspect is Maurice Strong. The phrase in the bible "strong delusion" ties in a bit with the false prophet concept which I'm sure I've taken out of context.

Peace (oops that means I could be the AC!) to all!

The Anti Christ will be the successor to Benedict the Inquisitor.
Maybe Biffi is speaking of himself.

Perhaps many were correct in saying that he was walking among us. However now he may be buried in Iraq. Killed by a bomb. We could as easily debate that the anti-christ got killed as we could that he is alive. I don't know of any evidence to prove anything one way or the other. Of course not too many people want to argue about dead people.

That lets GW out, I think he's scared of horses.......never see him near any on that 'ranch' of his.

I do have a picture of Ronald Regan on a white horse.....but it would probably be a bit late for him.

The biggest secret of the Vatican and various secret societies (or what they think is a secret) is that they’ve known the name, the identity of the antichrist for years, and they keep tabs on him regularly, and even joke about him now that he walks amongst us. If they could see how surrounded they’ve always been!

Philanthropist! Please! He rises up from utter ruins, they know that. They’re actually trying to trick the antichrist from realizing who he is. But it’s taken 'them' thousands of years to even recognize the back-alley-deals that Jesus made with Judas and others. My guess; they are in for some awful surprises.

The Antichrist is not a single individual. It is rather, a group of individuals whose main objective is religious deception. Therefore, any attempts to pin this moniker on one man is a waste of time.

The Scriptures tell us that even in the Apostle Johns day, the antichrist “is already in the world.” (1 John 4:3)

The word “antichrist” applies to all who deny what the Bible says about Jesus Christ, all who oppose his Kingdom, and all who mistreat his followers. It also includes individuals, organizations, and nations that falsely claim to represent Christ or that improperly ascribe to themselves the role of Messiah by presumptuously promising to achieve that which only Christ can do—bring about true peace and security.

You see, that is a misconception. The book of Daniel plainly states that the anti-Christ will be of a "Fierce countenance." A Fierce countenance means that he will be of an angry appearance, not a "handsome" one.
