JAKARTA (AFP) - A strong 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck the Indonesian province of Aceh on Thursday, but there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties, a seismologist said.(visit the link for the full news article)
The undersea quake, which hit at 9:01 a.m. (0201 GMT), was centered 170 kilometers under the seabed off the western coast of Aceh, a staff member at Indonesia's meteorology agency said.
