P.S : I remember Fidel Castro words to Krutchev : " Even if the socialism-communism win the ideology war, and if all the world nations are communists, we will have to keep, by the minimum, a capitalist nation, otherwise we will collapse ! When you heard this, you know why you have to do : FIGHT AGAINST SOCIALISM-COMMUNISM FOR EVER, until it's definitively dead !

Hi Echelon.

So isn't that promoting class ?

ofcourse not...
what would be the purpose of supporting a working class when there isn't anything else besides it?

by that time kruschev had decided to stop supporting the cubans.
therefore, castro had to come up with new policies, disallowing him to continue his 'permanent revolution'
it was already hard enough for them when the u.s. enforced the blockade.

You stupid commies can't even get rich. You have to make as much money as your goverment wants you too. Soon all commie countries will be no more.

echelon, I don't know where you get your figures from, but please list just one socialist country which is better off than a capitalist one. Please back it up with some type of statistic not just your say so.OK.

Now think about this very carefully and try not to contradict yourself in the next post.

Canadians are democratic socialists.

Your whole argument is moot echelon. The Canadian economy is driven by capitalists. They can call themselves socialists, democratic socialists or whatever. The point is Canada is a western economy driven by capitalism.

To sum up what I think.

Canada has socialistic aspects of their society, such as health care - but that's quite a stretch there Echelon. And you mentioned Sweden who, with still hight taxes and unemployment, had to veer back to capitalism to avoid collapse?

I always love the argument that the USSR wasn't practicing 'true' communism - or something to the effect. Amazes me that some people still wanna give that communism thing ago after all 'with proper funding it still might work, right?'

Mad Scientist - I love the BS meter!!!

yes mad scientist,
your b.s. meter was a nice touch...

sweden's problems are nothing compared to the u.s.'...
a nation which is responsible for leaving over 32,000,000 of its own people in poverty. very humane...

anyway... Bob88, you forgot the oil industry.

and what are they doing wrong in China, Echelon?
Or aren't they practicing true communism?

do i even have to answer that?
the chinese communists practically worshipped stalin.
and mao was probably worse.

Yes, Mao was like Beria, they had their goons pick up young girls so they could rape them. TRUE.

Let's face it echelon, communism is a vehicle for despotism. The fact that communism preaches central control over all organs of government is made for a dictatorial government.

and whats the deal with Communist leaders like Mao and Uncle Joe - why the need to kill soo many people? What's up with that, Echelon? And what about N. Korea - they're doing really well, eh?

it had nothing to do with communism.

so, you're not familiar with Stalin's purges and Mao's cultural revolution? Cmon any student of the red book is sure to have studied these communist leaders.

And were all dying to know what pure communism demands?

Demand ?

  • Pure communism demands that everbody work and behave like dones.
  • Pure communism demands blind faith towards the state
  • The Government required to starve, imprison and torture at least 20 million people within the first 10 years of power.

so where in the manifesto can you quote these things?

...exactly.
it was due to the lack of decency in human nature that has degraded the meaning of such a harmless system which was originally made for the benefit and evolution of man.
