I'm 39 years old, and have been playing video games for 35 years. I started with pong !!!
The addiction can be very strong, these games nowadays are extremely engrossing, and allow you to live in an entirely new world.

I don't think I've ever played more than 6 hours straight, and that is usually the first day with a new game, after that its the usual 45 minute sesssion for me.

What's really sad about this, is the kids that die from neglect. There have been at least two examples recently

This is why I pick on kids who love warcraft, well that and I just hate that damn game. I dont see how that fat guy pulled it off, I cant play a game more than 2 or 3 hours.
