Make no mistake...though religion may be used as justification, the underlying reason for EVERY war ever fought is economics.

What would life be like without the creation of religion?

Well, we wouldn't have stifled scientific thought and methods for centuries, so I'd suspect we'd be a lot more advanced tech-wise. Not to mention, the church (and religion) was the first tool used to subjugate other men and instill the class system. Without religion, there would be no "divine right rulership", and we'd have leadership based more on acumen, then bloodlines.... All in all, the world would be a better place.

But, it's kind of a moot point, as after all, religion is simply not going anyway anytime soon, and it will continue to stifle man, and limit his thinking....

Think of all the literature of the middle ages when the church was corrupt. A lot of the great literature was about the church. Literature may not be techonlogy, but it helps us become smarter. The smarter we are the more we are likely to come up with new inventions.

yes sure and many books about science and technology were burn because they were written by whitches and those people were inventors there are many stories about them even the person which claimed that our planet was round and was orbiting our sun was burned to death. I forgot his name but it was around the midle ages. many inventors and scientists were burned or hung.
because of religious groups which were frightent to lose there control over the people.

If you were alive back then would you really believe a man if he said the earth was round?

Why people fight for religion ?

of the understanding that religion and spirituality are not one and the same.

Many follow no organized religion. We follow in our heart's the love of our creator the father.

As we celebrate the birth of one of the truly great spirits we must understand that his message was very simple, and many in religion have made it so complex.

God does not ask for your worship. God only wants to be loved and to love. Jesus once spoke of praying in sanctuary.

Think of all the money spent on the ever increasing maze of churches built in the name of God. Could this money have not been used in a better way?

Religion is for the weak of heart.

Namaste

we would realise that it is us that are in controll of and create our own destinies rather than rellying on some ancient texts to controll and create our destinies.
