All these #ers saying that they will attack civilians on purpose must be killed..
Although the recording appears to be several months old, the broadcast of this taped message, in conjunction with that of al Zawahiri suggests an increased communication effort and heightens the possibilities for attacks. Additionally, a terrorist message posted within the last several hours warns of an impending surge of attacks.
Based on the oddly timed and curious release of the last audio message by Ayman al-Zawahiri, network analysts are seeing A LOT of discussion that Osama bin Laden might be incapacitated, dead, in captivity or even "in transit". We initially disregarded many of these statements as rhetoric, but there is mounting evidence that one of three things is possibly taking place:
1. Osama is ill/dead/incapacitated or otherwise unable to speak;
2. Osama is in captivity, which is something we have seeing quite a bit lately and cannot be summarily dismissed;
3. Osama is actually ON A BOAT fulfilling his last wish to die in the "Belly of the Eagle."

I usually dont read to much into these increases in "colors." But today seems really differant to me. If you watch the faces of Ridge, Bloomburg and the NYC police chief, they all look really worried. Like something inevitable. If you get a chance, watch Ridge when they show the recap of his speech. His facial tones really seem worried to a higher extent than I have ever seen before.
Another thing, someone on page 1 mentioned Libya. You know its quite possible that some kind of WMD was stolen from Libya. Libya realized this and had to come to this agreement before it was used on US soil or elsewere. Hence, the correlation between these alerts and Libya's overtures to give up all WMD's.
Maybe I am reading to much into this, but I am staying vigilant during this alert. Just seems more emotions are going on with this one.

i've been watching FoxNews all day as it seems to get the best leaks, they've been doing nothing but flag waving coverage from the streets of midtown manhattan, its very different since the last sets of warnings each of which i remember well, its all very pro-america now. Somethings different this time and i cant put my finger on it.

You noticed that about FOX too??
I've been watching football on FOX all day, and every time they cut in about the terror alert thing, the reporters are kind of like *squee!*
I mean, I know the media gets real dramatic, but there was something about the little cut-ins that raised my hackles.
I dunno.
Maybe people are edgier because it's been 7 months since we've seen "orange."
Maybe there is something to worry about.
Either way, I'm still not looking forward to flying next week. I wish I could just stay home.
